Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst will provide financial support for US & Canada Key Accounts, Dorel Sports International and CSG China

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the Key Accounts and Dorel Sports International (DSI) SG&A forecast and actual spending to ensure alignment with Budget.
Manage all Key Accounts and DSI warranty and freight expenses.
Manage month end closing procedures for Key Accounts and DSI, reviewing accrual requirements monthly.
Lead the financial forecasting process for Key Accounts and DSI SG&A, Freight and Warranty, including loading forecasts into the HOST and COGNOS forecasting tools.
Financial Analysis and Reporting as needed Analyze and report North America Key Accounts and Dorel Sports International (DSI) P&L, B/S, and Cash Flow performance versus budgets and prior forecasts.
Analytics Improve existing and create new analyses and financial models for decision support and forecasting.
Support Senior Finance Manager with analysis and reporting as needed.
Follow internal controls and company policies as set by the Company and job function.
Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.
Become a key business partner to the different functions including senior management, sales, supply chain, product planning and customer service.

Essential Qualifications:
BS degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Computer Science. Other degrees considered given relevant experience.
Entry level position, 0-2 years of related financial experience. Recent college graduate.
Basic understanding of accounting required.
Superior Excel skills mandatory. Good knowledge of VBA Macros and Microsoft Access is a plus.
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

Beneficial Qualifications:
Experience with SAP is a plus.
Experience with Cost Center Management and Reporting is a plus.
Recreation industry experience and familiarity with multi-brand oriented environment is a plus.

Financial Responsibilities/Scope:
Financial analysis to support leadership decisions and financial reporting
Expense tracking and approval
Oversight of Purchase Card use and reconciliation

Physical Demands:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, estimated at 0-5% of time.
