Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting digital marketing initiatives, including digital channel reporting, website testing and optimization, email channel planning and implementation, strategic SEO, as well as other various digital channel needs. You will be responsible for performance tracking and digital project management and execution working with both internal teams and external agencies in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Website Maintenance and Optimization (20%)
Optimize site through content, page layouts, and taxonomy to provide exceptional user experience and performance
Proactively offer strategic campaign recommendations across all digital channels
Document, troubleshoot, and resolve website performance
Assist in the development of digital assets to support marketing activities
Provide assistance with product and content updates across brand websites
Email Campaign Execution (20%)
Develop and coordinate promotional email campaigns, including strategy, set-up, segmentation, tracking, and reporting
Plan and coordinate the seasonal updates of triggered and transactional email campaigns
Optimize email campaigns through segmentation and testing
Set-up and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and campaign level reports
SEO (15%)
Under the leadership of the Digital Marketing Manager:
Drive increased web traffic through ongoing strategic organic search optimization
Assist Digital Marketing Manager in developing and implementing SEO strategies that will increase online presence and drive organic growth across brand websites
Unique content creation to support SEO across relevant digital platforms including category, product and site content.
Tracking and Reporting (25%)
Under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Manager:
Gather metrics and information from digital analytics platforms to track: Sales and activity across all online marketing channels
E-mail campaigns
Homepages and landing pages
Trend reporting of key site metrics

Assist in developing and distributing monthly reports and insights on web traffic, trends and insights, and campaign performance
Online Channel Support (15%)
Recommend and conduct tests to enhance ROI and online customer experience
Multichannel and Departmental Support Set-up and coordinate tracking codes across digital channels
Actively participate in cross functional team meetings to assist with product, sales, and marketing teams to accurately reflect brand strategy across digital channels
Develop and document processes to improve work flow efficiencies
Coordinate best practice sharing and project coordination with colleagues across the Dorel Sports teams
Work closely with developer partners to effectively maintain and enhance digital websites

Other Duties Assigned (5%)
Follows internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.
Contributes to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
BS/BA degree in related field with 3+ years of experience in marketing related organization
Experience with web analytics and ecommerce/internet marketing
Detail-oriented with solid communication skills
Previous experience with Web analytical tools or equivalent aptitude
Strong knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office products, especially MS Excel
Strong interest in emerging trends in ecommerce, Internet marketing, and technology
Working knowledge of HTML and Adobe Dreamweaver a plus
Possess organized workflow methods to successfully meet deadlines and balance priorities
Ability to acquire and maintain working relationships with vendors and colleagues in the field
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Creative problem-solving skills
Ability to travel occasionally
