Our Rancho Cucamonga, CAwarehouseis looking for an experienced 1st shift Quality Assurrance Technician.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, oversee and participate in the shipping, storing, receiving, and inventory control of product. Serves as a lead to hourly warehouse employees with a focus on training and providing work direction and guidance through coaching and timely feedback. Operate forklift and/or various equipment to load, unload, move, locate, stack and count product.
Essential Job Responsibilities

Leadership:
Lead hourly warehouse employees by hands-on coaching, training and teaching procedures and processes.
Drives positive employee relations and ensures effective communication with employees on expectations, opportunities and ways in which they may become more effective in their work.
Insure floor associates are maintain productive performance up to provided standards.
Partner with inbound and outbound coordinators on loads.
Issue and manage work assignments.
Matches and records information on shipping labels to delivery.
Delegates orders to the labeling line teams to process for shipping.
Attaches labels or tags and marks materials on boxes.
Sets up and process labeling machines and monitors their output.
Makes minor routine adjustments to labeling machines.
Returns all completed paper work to the shipping office.
Reports any damage product or any discrepancies on product.
Proficient in the use of SAP/warehouse system.

Warehouse Equipment Operation:
Safely and efficiently operate forklift and all other specified equipment in and around the warehouse.
Loads and unloads shipments.
Transports product to and from dock.

Manual Product Handling:
Pick, pull, and label product for shipping.
Label product in assigned location.
Wrap product for transport to designated areas for shipping.

Knowledge of the scanning process, including handheld scanning
Operates parcel computer
Completing all required paperwork
Read and identify product and locations.
Read, understand, use and follow information on orders, equipment, and procedures.
Maintain and effectively communicate the necessity of a clean safe work environment.
Follow internal controls and company policies. Lead or assist with other projects and tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements (include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required.)
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
Able to learn SAP program.
Ability to read and write numbers, letters and general business documents.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.
1-year previous forklift experience.
Experience leading a team through communication and affirmative actions.
Excellent attendance record.
Skilled in verbal and (written?) communication in both English and Spanish.
