Our Rancho Cucamonga, CAwarehouseis looking for an experienced 1st shift Quality Assurrance Technician.









Job Summary


The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily functions of receiving, processing, inventory management, and shipping of Dorel Sports product. Leading and coaching employees to meet customer satisfaction through a strong on-floor presence. The Supervisor will coordinate and professionally supervise the operation, oversee inventory management, ensure FIFO process is utilized, maintain quality performance objectives, and assist in cost control programs, while meeting safety compliance requirements.






Essential Job Responsibilities

Daily Responsibilities:


Execute warehouse receiving and shipping operation activities to meet productivity and service goals.

Proficient in the use of SAP.

Execute operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipment, handling, and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of the warehouse inventory.

Maintain floor presence to drive/promote employee engagement and interaction.

Communicate with fellow supervisors, managers, and direct reports.

Provide effective feedback, training, and oversite of direct reports in areas of standard operating procedures, best practices and all safety and company policies.

Responsible for keeping accurate inventory records and reconciling inventory discrepancies.

Manage a safe work environment in accordance with Company and OSHA guidelines while instilling this to the floor associates.

Manage performance and development through coaching, training, feedback, accountability, and performance evaluations.

Initiate, implement and/or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals and build positive employee relations.

Assume all supervisory responsibilities concerning Human Resource policies and procedures including daily and weekly timesheet maintenance.

Assist in interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding new hires.

Complete and present performance evaluations to direct reports.

May be required to work other shifts to provide supervisory coverage as needed.

Follows internal controls and company policies set by Pacific Cycle Inc. and Dorel Sports.

Contributes to the success of Pacific Cycle Inc. by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements (include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required.)



Must be legally permitted (authorized?) to work in the United States.

College degree in business, management or other related field(?) or equivalent work experience.

Proficient in computer software (Microsoft Office Office).

Skilled in verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.

Ability to adapt to changes in operational needs and prioritize accordingly.






Beneficial Qualifications


3-5 years previous Supply Chain/Warehouse leadership experience.

Experience in SAP and/or WM systems.

Previous forklift experience.

Availability to work any shift.



Environmental Factors


Exposure to weather and temperatures range from cold to hot in warehouse.

Noise level can be moderate to high throughout the facility.
