Job Summary


The SAP logistics and warehouse analyst is required to analyze and understand complex business problems and implement robust technical solutions in SAP core MM, Purchasing, Intercompany purchasing and Warehouse management


This role is responsible for making configuration changes, performing and guiding others in unit and regression testing, researching and resolving daily issues using a variety of resources, and performing training and creating documentation as necessary.





Essential Job Responsibilities


Operational Responsibilities


Provide functional, architectural and technical expertise in area of SAP MM, Purchasing and Warehouse management

Works with team on projects and ensure all deliverable are successfully completed in the area of purchasing and warehouse management

Communicate project status and initiatives to middle and senior level management.

Provide support in solution design, interface design, writing functional & technical specifications and system configurations.

Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to be able to identify and fix bugs that arise in unit test, system integration test, user acceptance test.

Interface with global IT management and regional business management to identify and develop tactical plans to meet business needs.

Should be able to troubleshoot, analyze and collaborate with Business units and local SAP users along with good inter & intra personal communication skills, planning skills

Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges and offer resolutions that are applicable & acceptable to business process champions & buyers within Operations & planning teams

Identifies organizations strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.

Project Execution


Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.

Take input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.

Communicates and applies project standards.

Manages resources in accordance with project schedule.

Consistently delivers high-quality services to global operations & planning teams.

Complete special projects and other duties as assigned

Technical Recommendation and Testing


Able to define project tasks independently and project manage definition of brand-new entities and develop a project plan that represents cross functional detailed tasks at multiple company levels.

Perform data analysis to support evaluation of system defects

Work with the business users and develop requirements for new functionality or update currently implemented process

Leads testing efforts.

Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.

Works with business units, power users & end users to identify required changes & clearly document details.

Communicates needed changes to development team.

Other Duties Assigned


Must possess good interpersonal and relationship skills must cooperate and communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, subordinates and/or outside contacts.

Knowledge of computers and applications required including knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written including ability to conduct formal and informal presentations and workshops to all levels of management and all members of the IT organization.

Strong organizational skills.

Must be able to carry out assignments with moderate supervision.

Must be able to multi-task effectively.

Follow internal controls and company policies set by Pacific Cycle & Dorel Sports Inc.

Contribute to the success of Pacific Cycle & Dorel Sports Inc. by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.

Model the Dorel Sports behaviors and support business strategy.




Minimum Requirements


Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business technology

A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience with at least 6 years with SAP ECC 6.0 MM, purchasing and warehouse management

At least 3 SAP Implementations experience with MM, purchasing and warehouse management

Working knowledge with a 3 PL warehouse landscape will be a plus

Previous experience working in an international organization

SAP eWM knowledge and Implementation experience will be a plus

SAP GTS with Free Trade Zone knowledge will be a plus

Must have working knowledge of RF scanner and Barcodes




Environmental Factors


A large percentage of work time is spent in an office setting may sit for extended periods of time.

Might require international travel which involves being able to fly in a plane for long periods of time.
