Position Summary:
As Retail Merchandising Manager at Cannondale, you will oversee the design and implementation of our office build out. You will also leadthe design and implementation of European in-store projects. You will be responsible for the Bike & Accessories presentation at internal and external Cycling Sports Group events.
Physical Demands:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
Must be able to travel internationally for business.
Responsibilities:
Defining and executing an annual program of in-store materials for different dealer segments;
Managing and executing key dealer shop build outs to ensure premium Cannondale brand presence;
Ensuring that the in-store experience is consistent with other touchpoints between the brand and the consumers;
Establishing and activating a measurement approach for in-store presence;
Establishing a common knowledge level about in-store presence across the marketing and sales disciplines;
Establishing Cross functional teamwork with Trainer team, Field Marketing team and outside account managers to get shop in shop installs and POP rolled out in selected shops across Europe;
Quality / effectiveness of in-store solutions, e.g. in terms of conversion rate, basket size, cross selling etc.;
Ensuring the rebranding of all Cannondale shops in Europe;
Budget and timing compliance;
Other duties as may be assigned throughout the year;
Follow internal controls and company policies as set by CSG and job function;
Contribute to the success of CSG by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
Have a bachelors degree with 2-3 years experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Have minimum 2 years experience in in-store solutions (preferred in outdoor and sports industry);
Have passion for consumer driven solutions;
Have strong project management skills;
Have excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills;
Be fluent both written and spoken in English;
Be willing and able to travel extensively;
Be pragmatic and hands-on;
Have experience in or have passion for cycling or related outdoor sports industry;
Have additional Western European language skills;
Strong project management, organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills;
Proven leadership skills;
Strong customer centric focus;
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across cultures and functions;
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
Beneficial Qualifications:
Prior experience working for a global brand and multi-national business.
A passion for mountain and road bikes, actions sports, and/or outdoor lifestyle.
