Position Summary
The Assistant Marketing Manager will work closely with the global brand team on tactical execution of online and offline marketing campaigns for the Cannondale brand. The Assistant Marketing Manager will manage product data, assist with the execution of content for social platforms, ambassador support and marketing logistics, all with an eye toward driving brand growth across multiple retail channels. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected of the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities:
Assists in management of Global Marketing calendar, implement, track and analyze campaigns and recommend strategies for growth
Working with the global marketing leadership, support and execute the key global campaigns for the year
Assists in management of global brand ambassador programs
Coordinate with the global marketing category managers to support and execute key brand projects throughout the year
Assist in development and distribution of key brand communications and product messages. Formats used will include: Key trade shows and consumer events, print and digital media
Serve as liaison between brand marketing and product management team; manages product data, outlines feature and benefit statements to be used across all media
Collaborate with other departments as requested
Contributes to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned
Help prepare documents, mailings, trade show materials, correspondence and presentations as needed.
Other duties as may be assigned throughout the year
Follows internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field
Has diverse experience in social media tools, digital marketing, marketing analytics
A passion for mountain and road bikes, actions sports, and/or outdoor lifestyle.
Demonstration of strong organizational and planning skills
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize
Capable of both strategic thinking with tactical execution
Willingness to take initiative with minimal direction
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Experience in managing successful Social Media marketing campaigns
Beneficial Qualifications:
Professional experience working for a global product brand
Action sports industry experience is beneficial
Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop
Bicycle mechanic skills a plus
Physical Demands:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
Travel domestic and/or international will be required
