About the job

Position Summary:


Develop, lead and execute the businesss S&OP / SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning) approach, yielding improved value/experience for customers and enhanced revenue/margin growth for the business.


Responsibilities:


Lead the establishment and execution of the CSG EMEA S&OP process: Key leader for the implementation of all strategies and initiatives to ensure the S&OP processes reaches and remains a benchmark process within the organization.

Coordinate all facets of the S&OP process to provide an optimum customer Service level and working capital performance as defined by the organization's business operating plans and strategic objectives.

Ensure that the S&OP process is supported by the right (global) data and systems to maximize speed and accuracy

Collaborate with marketing and sales, to ensure the demand consensus process delivers an agreed upon, workable volume forecast (mid and long term); ensuring gaps and overlaps are addressed, scenarios are completed and issues appropriately escalated to meet business objectives.

Ensure that the appropriate data is available and accurate to be reviewed at the S&OP process meetings.

Lead the S&OP management reviews, prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and scenarios that must be presented, guide final decision making on open items and trade-offs, and prepare escalations for executive review where appropriate.

Facilitate the S&OP executive reviews, organize the participation of key executives, ensure the correct data and metrics are available, present critical issues, risks and opportunities and drive decision making for all key issues.

Liaison between the marketing/sales, supply chain, and finance teams on product life-cycle management initiatives (like development and commercialization of new products and SKU rationalization) and their link to S&OP processes.

Create the S&OP minutes, communicate key conclusion to stakeholders and ensure follow up of the actions.

Essential Qualifications:


BS Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Management

5-10 years of experience in demand management, planning, scheduling or other supply chain focus is required.

5 years forecasting experience with an advanced forecasting system, demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems, SAP experience is a plus.

Experience re-engineering and/or establishing S&OP processes.

Understanding of advanced supply chain concepts and their financial impact (inventory turns, cash flow and working capital) is required.

Critical behaviors: analytical skills, independent thinker, external orientation, leadership across disciplines.

Fluent in English and Dutch.

High proficiency using Microsoft Office is required.

High-end consumer goods experience.

Beneficial Qualifications:


Prior experience working for a global brand and multi-national business.

A passion for mountain and road bikes, actions sports, and/or outdoor lifestyle.

Physical Demands:


Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.

Must be able to travel internationally for business.
