We havean exciting opportunity forFull-time Warehouse Operators to join our Distribution Center in Olney, Illinois. These positions are scheduled to work Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm. To ensure we are able to meet customer shipping expectations, this position will be required to work occasional overtime, which may include same-day overtime as needed. Competitivestarting wages at $15/hrwith progression to $16/hr within 12months. We offer a fun work environment and comprehensive benefits and wellness programs.
This location operates as a ForeignTrade Zone. A pre-employment background check and drug screen is required.
Job Summary
Under the direction of warehouse supervisor and warehouse lead, this position is responsible for manually unloading inbound containers by hand, sorting products by SKU,putting away products into assigned locations, picking customer bike orders, labeling orders, and loading orders onto outbound containers.The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of equipment while receiving, putting away, picking, and shipping product.
Manual Product Handling:
Unloads full-size bikes and other productsfrom container by hand.
Picks, pulls and labels full-size bikes and other product for shipping.
Put away product in specified location.
Wraps product for transport or shipping to designated locations.
Warehouse Equipment Operation:
Operates forklift with or without slip sheet attachment, and other specified equipment in and around the warehouse.
Complete equipment maintenance checklists daily.
Loads and unloads shipment.
Transports product to and from dock/bay/locations.
Safe and efficient operation of the equipment.
Other Duties:
Adheres to all company quality and customer service standards.
Knowledge of the scanning process, including operation of a handheld scanner.
Efficiently operate parcel computer.
Complete all required paperwork.
Read and identify products and locations.
Read, understand, use, and follow procedures on orders and equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Follow internal controls and company policies.
Lead or assist with other projects and tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements (include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required.)
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Must be authorizedto work in the United States.
Ability to read and write numbers and letters.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequentlywithout assistance.
Previous forklift / order picking experience.
Environmental Factors
Exposure to weather and temperatures that range from cold to hot.
Noise level can be moderate to high throughout the facility.
