Position Summary: Drive the day to day website and mobile application content updates to support sales and marketing initiatives for CSG global brands. This role will partner closely with creative, marketing, and product teams to help manage all day to day website operations for both our B2C and B2B customers.
Responsibilities:
Primary point for managing and executing all day-to-day content updates across our B2C and B2B web properties including but not limited to Cannondale, GT Bicycles and Chargebikes.
Become the subject matter expert of our CMS and other backend and 3rd party systems and integrations: Salsify (Product Information System), Widen (Digital Asset Manager), Zendesk, etc.
Responsible for managing/updated global product catalog across all regional B2C & B2B websites
Fully understand all site components including how they function and how they are configured
Collaborate with UI/UX, creative, and marketing teams on layouts, wireframes, navigation, and full customer experience journeys
Work with marketing & IT teams to define customer journeys, personas, and data collection strategy
Enable A/B & Multivariate tests to determine what scenarios and variations are the best performing
Coordinate and execute all website product launches and landing page creation, as well as other ad hoc content requests
Manage and communicate the development of product launch plans (asset/content management, regional product availability, translations, etc)
Understands and provides SEO recommendations on all web development projects as projects are being built
Build out HTML email templates to support product launches and other marketing initiatives
Assist in troubleshooting CMS issues and other 3rd party integrations
Follows internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.
Contributes to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or another related field
6-8 years of experience managing content and/or providing front-end development for a global website
Experience working on B2B and/or B2C eCommerce websites
Intimate knowledge of launching large-scale global marketing campaigns
Experience managed online products and familiarity with product IDs, Model codes, and SKUs
Intermediate experience with HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, and JavaScript
Knowledge of eMail best practices and building HTML templates
Familiar with A/B testing platforms (Google Optimize, Optimizely, or similar)
Experience gathering data and establishing website personalization
Deep understanding of responsive design, and mobile first best practices
Strong understanding web publishing tools and a variety of API integrations
Familiar with basic SEO tactics and strategy
Detailed knowledge of reporting suites such as Google Analytics
Beneficial Qualifications:
MBA or related advanced degree preferred
Advanced Frontend Development skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, etc.
Experience managing content within Sitecore and/or Shopify
Experience working with various web-based software such as Figma, Sketch, DevOps, AHA, Jira
Knowledge of complex data structures and familiarity creating ERDs
Experience optimizing landing pages for a variety of paid digital tactics
Experience in the bicycle industry or closely related sporting industry
Experience working with global teams in a virtual capacity
Physical Demands:
Must be able to work in a typical office setting
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10% of the time)
