We are looking for talented, hard-working individuals to join our team as we grow in our new flagship 775,000 sq/ft fulfillment facility in Savannah, GA. If you are interested in being part of a team to lay the foundation for a new location, this is the right place for you.


The Maintenance Mechanic will initially be responsible for evaluating equipment for routine maintenance or repair, completing repair/scheduling repair with outside vendors as needed. Begin managing outside vendor services or maintenance and janitorial services. Focus on project management with Engineer and Operation Manager. Set up Maintenance shop area.


What you will do:


The Maintenance Mechanic will perform routine and preventative maintenance, repair procedures, and janitorial duties within the facility. Perform various skilled tasks such as minor electrical, mechanical, welding, or other recognized crafts for maintaining, repairing, and managing the cleanliness and operations of the building and equipment. Respond to emergency maintenance requests during scheduled and unscheduled work hoursTroubleshoots problems before consulting outside contractors/vendors.


General Maintenance:


Schedule, manger, and record all outside vendor services.

Fill LP tanks daily to ensure lift trucks are in operation.

Performs skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

Perform installs, repairs, and maintenance to the building and infrastructure.

Schedule and execute Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM)

Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements following diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications, troubleshooting malfunctions.

Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, utilities, and facilities employ mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic plumbing, HVAC, and light welding skills.

Participates in all safety and regulatory training needed to fulfill the duties of the position. Follow all facility safety rules and regulations, wear PPE as required per procedure.




Minimum Requirements


Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

High school diploma or equivalent. Degree/certificate from a vocational school or college.

Must be able to become equipment certified on all equipment.

Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience.

Ability to read, write, and understand diagrams, operating manuals, and work instructions.

Knowledge of power tools and their use.

Proven mechanical knowledge of engines and motors.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work at varying heights.

Basic computer skills with MS excel, word and Outlooks Email.
