Job Description

Primitive Skateboarding is expanding and we’re in search of a new Customer Service/Sales Support Representative to join their team in Chatsworth, CA. With the brand experiencing tremendous growth, we’re now looking for the right person to join its team.

POSITION SUMMARY //
Primitive Skateboarding is looking for a highly self-motivated, productive Customer Service/Sales Support representative to help with day to day activity. Ideally, the right candidate will need to naturally exhibit ambition, honesty, flexibility and a willingness to learn. The ability to work with a team is a must as well as great attitude – even while under duress. This person will work closely with sales and administration managers in helping to act as our “air traffic controller” for all inbound/outbound orders. Additional responsibilities may involve inventory management, direction customer interaction and helping to improve efficiency systems. Opportunity to grow into a managerial role could potentially be available for the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Exercises independent judgement to ensure that Primitive's customer service standards are maintained and are consistent within the brand’s promise.
• Manages new and existing accounts including account creation, account integrity, and account status.
• Help to generate new items each season, as well as to manage how we manage and allocate older styles.
• Plays an active role with order priority and insure that delivery windows are observed and orders have cleared Finance prior to being dropped to the warehouse for picking.
• Manages the pick ticket queue to ensure that orders are fulfilled within the agreed turnaround of order placement to shipment to delivery.
Runs allocation reports, identify orders that are ready to ship and drop .
• Ushers the processes needed to maintain the day to day communication between Primitive and the end user including email and phone correspondence.
• Cross checks to ensure that all payments are received prior to shipping.
• Coordinates and logs all return authorizations (RA) and processes them within the agreed timeframe.


Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS //
• Familiarity with a B2B portal like brandboom or NuOrder
• Apparel Experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Familiarity with an ERP system
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Self starter and resourceful
• Excellent grasp with Microsoft Excel.
• Genuine interest to work for an apparel company in a start up type environment wouldn’t hurt either…
