Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Plans, directs, and oversees marketing department activities, operations & communication for Ducati North America (United States, Canada and Mexico).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directs the development and execution of comprehensive, measurable strategic marketing plans to meet goals and objectives of the company.
• Exploits the use of digital marketing tools, techniques, & KPIs.
• Strong cooperation, collaboration and coordination with Ducati headquarters.
• Develop, implement and support programs at a both macro (National) and micro (Dealer) levels.
• Oversees the development and maintenance of marketing budgets; prepares reports as needed.
• Develops and implements aggressive and creative marketing campaigns, promotions, and programs.
• Directs, coordinates, and supervises the development, design, and production of promotional and collateral materials.
• Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities.
• Oversees development of plans, programs, and promotions to improve market penetration and meet corporate objectives.
• Directs the coordination, management, and communication of market research and competitive analysis.
• Develops, maintains, and manages consistent corporate image throughout all marketing and promotional materials and product lines.
• Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops marketing staff; manages schedules and workflow.
• Manages external agencies and vendors ensuring consistency of deliverables and managing associated budgets.
• Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
• Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
• Monitors overall activities of the communications department; capitalizes on opportunities, identifies problem areas and directs corrective actions.
• Consistently represents the values of a premium brand in all actions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervises marketing staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent in related field.
• Eight to Ten years related experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Basic competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Competency in current digital marketing techniques and understanding of trends.
• Experience/knowledge of retail marketing to support local dealer marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
• Proficient on all Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
