We are looking for an experienced Ecommerce professional to join our team as B2B eCommerce Specialist.

This position is made for someone who is truly self motivated, thinks about how we can do it better, a natural communicator, and has a really strong desire to be the glue for our B2B Ecomm efforts. It’s perfect for someone who’s worked in a multi-brand environment in an ecommerce capacity and has a few years of driving and improving results.

The role of the B2B eCommerce Specialist will be to constantly guarantee that the B2B platform is up to date, providing accurate information and valuable assets for our customers.

This role will be responsible for communicating with the brands (vendors) to get product information and specifications, media assets and communicating with the sales team to plan promotions that are going to be advertised on the B2B platform.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full functionality of the e-commerce, which requires an exceptional end to end customer experience.

The B2B eCommerce Specialist will be the main point of contact between Highway Two and our B2B provider, communicating efficiently to fix potential issues and continuously developing user experience enhancements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• The B2B eCommerce Specialist will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and maintenance of the ecommerce site including monitoring daily data flow between the site and internal systems, content management across site, email and digital marketing; ensuring accurate product setup and leveraging data to drive merchandising, search, and content
• Manage both front and back-end operations of the site including actively monitor daily data flow between front end, order management, and internal systems; and working with appropriate partners to resolve any discrepancies and issues
• Coordinating with sales for specific promotions to be advertised on the B2B (event planning and execution)
• Continuous improvement of the B2B site – constant seek of new features to keep improving the customer experience
• Set & report on KPIs related to the site performance, digital marketing, new features
• Sales team support via marketing asset development, product launches and regional campaigns
• Partnering with H2 sales and marketing to develop promotional ideas to increase B2B adoption with H2 customers and update B2B
• The role will involve cross-functional collaboration with our marketing, operations, planning, finance and sales team

Skills/Abilities:

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively
• Shows initiative, is self-motivated, a problem-solver and excels in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organized with accurate data entry
• Strong listening skills and sociable, friendly with an engaging personality
• Ability to project manage with 3rd party vendors to ensure general operations of the website
• Proven ability to effectively think through complex issues and creatively problem solve
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and integrity every day
• Dynamic work ethic including effective time management
• Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative or team setting

Education and Experience:
• Degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems or related field
• 3-5 years of prior ecommerce experience, preferably on Sana and retail business (B2B preferred)
• Experience with SAP B1 or similar ERP systems a plus
• Web Development skills a plus
