CCS is an iconic brand in skateboarding, best known for the CCS Catalog (10-13 million circulated annually during its heyday); having the most comprehensive selection of skate and street gear, apparel, and footwear; and CCS Brand denim and chinos.
CCS fell on hard times and was liquidated in 2014. A group out of Portland, Oregon picked up the pieces in 2015. Today we are healthy, ambitious, and enjoying industry leading growth by driving innovation. We have approximately 40 coworkers and are based in Portland, OR. Our business is primarily online and we have one retail store location. We are well on our way to building a leading skate and street wear company by innovating in all areas of our business.
We are gearing up to take our most consequential step forward yet. With CCS Brand apparel, we are in the process of building a platform to turn fashion into a vehicle for greater creative exploration and storytelling than arguably exists anywhere today. Our aspiration is to become nothing less than one of the most innovative and compelling fashion brands in and out of skate. Our CCS Brand strategy will be shared with candidates as they move through the interview process.
We are seeking to hire a Senior Apparel Graphic Designer for CCS Brand Apparel who will take the lead in this effort. While we prefer to hire someone fulltime, consideration will be given in rare cases to candidates who need to continue their existing pursuits.
