AFTCO is seeking a Key Accounts Manager for the Guy Harvey apparel brand in Santa Ana, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is based in our Santa Ana California offices. The Guy Harvey Key Accounts Manager works closely with, and reports to the Guy Harvey National Sales Manager to develop strategic initiatives, seasonal assortments, and forecasts to achieve sales objectives with several of our large volume customers such as Academy Sports, Bass Pro Shops, West Marine, Beall’s Department Stores, and other leading outdoor retailers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strategically drive Guy Harvey business by working directly with buyers and senior management at corporate offices of major national accounts to develop and negotiate contracts, broad corporate strategies and guidelines for positioning of the brand, purchase, merchandising, and promotion of Guy Harvey products.
• Analysis of retail performance to identify additional sales opportunities.
• Communicate regularly with product development, marketing, production and operations to evaluate sales forecasts and develop plans to fulfill requirements for availability of product as well as sales support tools, and visual merchandising and promotional materials.

RELATIONSHIP:
• Travel to customers and other retail partners to develop and nurture strong, effective professional business relationships.
• Make effective and persuasive presentations to achieve compelling results and positive customer action.
• Schedule, organize and conduct key account meetings seasonally to present key initiatives, develop a marketing plan, and establish the buy for the season.
• Attend account events and trade shows as needed.

REPORTING:
• Prepare analyses and reports to management that monitor, forecast and analyze sales activity and trends. Assess product and customer performance, sell through and profitability, inventory replenishment requirements, and market risks and opportunities.

TRAVEL:
This position requires frequent travel, including weekends. Most travel is outside the local area and overnight for trade show exhibition and account visits.
