Alp-n-Rock is seeking a passionate Production Coordinator. Working out of our Carlsbad office, this person will be an invaluable asset to our growing company. Major Responsibilities:
• Create and manage Tech Packs
• Create and manage product specs
• Create and manage Line Plans
• Maintain seasonal sketch/body library in Illustrator or other programs
• Prepare, maintain and update any specification sheets, forms or templates in various programs including but not limited to Illustrator
• Follow up with vendors on all submittals (Fabrics, fits, lab dips, trims and samples)
• Review weekly WIP (Work in Progress) reports and T&A (Time and Action Calendar)
• Organizing PO logs and shipment tracking data
• Communicate daily with all vendors/suppliers regarding updates in all phases of the development and production process
• Order and track market materials/samples/PR samples
• Organize, track and approve all materials and trims and samples within excel charts to retain
Technical Skills:
• Comprehensive understanding in flat garment measuring, garment construction, quality control/assurance
• Strong knowledge of woven and knit apparel construction, fabric construction and properties
• Proficient at preparing and writing product specification sheets
• Proficiency in computer software such as: Word, Excel, Outlook systems
• Strong knowledge of apparel construction and production art (repeats, color ups, separations)
• Record and enter design change information into CAD based on fitting or line review
• Gather, track and provide weekly status update and list of outstanding fabrics and trims updated status
