Sales and Service

Customer service focused:

!Provide coaching to sales team to increase productivity and maintain a high standard of customer service.!Enhance selling technique through comprehensive product awareness i.e. product trends, care of fabric etc.!Awareness of advertising and promotions, and competitive market trends.!In Store manager’s absence handle all customer complaints in a professional manner.!Motivate and assist with the development and training of sales team in customer service and admin duties.

Sales and Budget

!Continually generate sales, and maintain success in meeting weekly sales objectives.!Continue to create multiple sales figures by add-on sales.

Administration – Awareness of:

!Accurately perform and oversee all opening and closing procedures in the store and POS system.!Perform and oversee all register operations.!Complete daily activity reports.!Compile Sales Consultants Productivity reports.!Merchandise handling ie. freight log, transfers etc.!Gift certificate logs.!Complete daily payroll planning worksheet and rosters.!Ensure expenses are documented.!Oversee housekeeping standards including backroom presentation.

Product Awareness

!Assist the Store Manager in training staff on product knowledge by utilising the Denim LeadershipTraining Program and other recommended training as instructed by support team!Assist the Store Manager in ongoing staff and consumer education on the features and benefits of Levi’s® products.

Personnel

!Provide guidance to staff!Provide counseling where necessary.!Create a team effort, encourage staff to achieve personal objectives.

Occupational Health and Safety

!In conjunction with the Store Manager ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities in accordance with Duty of Care provisions that exists in all Occupational Health and Safety legislation, and all Levi Strauss Australia Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.For example:

!Emergency evacuation (Including fire extinguishers)!Manual handling!Injury and Hazard reporting procedures!Smoke free policy!Hazardous Substances

Marketing/Merchandising

!Work with the Store Manager in the preparation and execution of monthly promotions and new product floor sets.!Maintain visual excellence in presentation of floor merchandise and window displays.!Ensure the Retail Operation portrays the premium showcase environment of the Levi’s® brand.

Security Procedures

!Ensure all garments are properly tagged with security device.!Awareness of customer security/apprehension.!Manage security access codes and keys.!Maintain confidentiality agreement.

Operations

!Responsible for opening and closing the store on occasion including balancing, safe and alarm access and daily staffing operations.!Maintain general housekeeping and merchandising standards of the store through delegation and own practice.!Ensure a high level of awareness of security procedures by all floor staff, including tagging of all product.!Assist in the management and safeguard of all store assets including:-?merchandise/inventory?fixture and display material?cash?store and personal safety
