JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
! Work closely with product development and sourcing teams to define expansion of sustainable materials across our products.
! Manage our focus on sustainable materials to ensure that the highest level of impact, consumer relevance and cost management is achieved.
! Work at the farm level with organizations like the Organic Cotton Accelerator (OCA) and other farm group focused organizations to ensure that farmers are paid premiums and that the fiber can be pulled into product.
! Maintain focus on the goals and the relevant percentages of more sustainable fiber in our products to deliver the most credibility and scale.
! Support the onramping process for more sustainable materials into the main-line product.
! Manage commodity flows for sustainable fibers like certified organic cotton, recycled polyester, and next generation manmade cellulosics.
! Provide insights into costing and premium cost control measures for main-line sustainable products that contain more sustainable fibers.
! Maintain relationships with farms/farm group, gins, agents and processors to ensure adequate supply of more sustainable fibers. Support hedging approaches to ensure cost control.
! Manage key initiatives to grow traceability of products, including chain of custody programs for more sustainable fibers
! Work with cross-functional partners to grow the traceability program to scale
