JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Results:

This position will help lead Retail/DTC network security and be responsible for working with other network security engineers to take a risk-based approach to security at Levi Strauss & Co. 
! Design, implement and maintain information security & network security at retail sites
! Including but not limited to technical platforms providing Network Access Control (NAC), Software Defined Networking (SDN), VPN, Firewall, Network Switches, Wireless Controllers/AP’s, and other security controls delivered at a network level.

Develop and implement information security & network controls and procedures to support:
! Security at LS&CO Retail locations
! O&O sites
! Franchisee sites

Adopt and deploy retail network standards partnering with local and global staff

Configure and troubleshoot retail infrastructure

Manage and engage with technology vendors for activities related to support

Performance management reports and metrics

Deliver Support services in line with established department SLAs

Key Responsibilities:
! Serve as global lead and point of contact delivering network and Security services to Retail/DTC customers
! Work with leader to manage priorities of team to effectively deliver services on time and within budget
! Provide project leadership and execution (design, POC/test, build, deploy) within projects requiring IT solutions in support of retail business systems projects across the globe.
! Ensure the successful delivery of IT projects based on timely delivery and quality of assigned deliverables (technical specifications, POC, testing, build, deploy) and within defined variance thresholds for schedule and budget, as well as adherence to established global IT project, business process/requirements management.

Engage with the business globally to “solve” business problems via technology and process innovation relative to IT capability requirements for our retail store systems globally.

Minimum Education Required:

College degree or equivalent work experience.  CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent technology certifications desired.  Azure, AWS or Google Cloud certifications a plus.

Years and Type of Experience Required:

10+ years enterprise IT experience, minimum 5 years providing engineering and L3/4 support for network technologies and services. .

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
! Expert level knowledge of multiple network protocols and technology including WAN, LAN, WLAN, MPLS, VPN Network Acceleration / Compression Devices, DNS, DHCP, Network Routing (BGP, IBGP, OSPF, EIGRP, GRE tunnels, etc), TACACS and Network Management tools. 
! Experience with Fortinet FW/Switch/AP/mgt tools, Wireless controllers, HP ClearPass highly desirable
! Competency in monitoring/management toolsets such as FortiManager / FortiAnalyzer or equivalent.
! Excellent network systems documentation and architecture diagram skills
! Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with customers, vendors, and other engineering team, solving complex business problems together.
! Perform as technical lead for designing, engineering and implementing complex data network systems.
! Plan and execute network design and engineering changes / enhancements for improved systems functionality, availability and performance
! Develop performance and capacity planning
! Perform complex problem resolution working within problem management processes
! Orchestrate technical changes to the global network environment as scheduled through the change management processes
! Perform detailed technical evaluations of new network technology and provide technical recommendations for the integration of that technology with other IT systems
! Provide effective network design, architecture & engineering in and across all regions that is responsive, technically competent, and achieves a standard based and reliable service environment that meets business strategies and initiatives
! Perform at an in-depth level of technical expertise for the analysis, engineering design, and architecture for data and voice.
! Strong planning and organization skills.
! Experience with cloud hosting is a plus.
! Willingness to serve in the on-call rotation and work nights and weekends to implement complex changes.
