This is an exciting opportunity for a Group Product Manager to lead a product team and help prioritize and orchestrate our key investments across our ecommerce search platform, recommendations and personalization experience. As the owner of a core feature , you’ll partner effectively to uncover and deliver high ROI ways to enhance customer value in measurable ways. Your job is to shape the search vision and personalization roadmap, and iteratively execute to demonstrate best practices in product management. Your work will make it easier for users to discover the products & content that they need , creating meaningful value for them within Levi’s ecosystem on all channels and platforms. You won’t be alone in your endeavors. Rather you’ll work with seasoned experts in Design, Insights, Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams across the globe. In partnership with your colleagues, you’ll transform your strategy into a product that scales globally. This involves considering local customer needs, cultural nuance, and competitive environments to help our business grow.   

This is a hybrid role so our ideal candidate is located in the Bay Area but there will be flexibility around remote work.



Responsibilities 
!
You will develop capabilities that deliver unique and personalized experience.  

!
Manage a team of product managers who will drive day-to-day execution of the roadmap 

!
Present product plans, benefits and results confidently to senior leadership, external partners, and other large audiences.  

!
Integrate data science & analytics thinking, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive priority of product initiatives. 

!
Be able understand technical complexity of features being put onto the backlog and partner with the engineering and data science teams to make the right technical trade-off's. 

!
Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, Balance quick wins vs. platform investments appropriately and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences. 

!
Manage feature health, analyze consumer feedback and usage metrics to identify key pain points. 

!
Navigate through ambiguity using consumer data, internal data, external benchmarks, and business objectives as guides 

!
Balance the use and integration of third-party solutions for quick delivery of goals 

!
Roll up sleeves as necessary to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet our high standards of quality. 

!
Coach and develop other team members 

 

Qualifications 
!
8+ years of experience in product management, product development, e-commerce, management consulting, quantitative analysis, or a similar field. 

!
6+ years' experience performing quantitative analysis, preferably for a web, mobile, or other technology company 

!
Degree in math, statistics, engineering, computer science, economics, or other quantitative fields 

!
Prior experience building global consumer experiences, especially search or personalization programs is a plus.  

!
Prior experience in machine learning or data science driven consumer experiences is a plus

!
Experience in crafting a convincing roadmap for a broad suite of feature offerings that form a coherent service 

!
Self-motivated and proactive, with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities 

!
Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization, especially to senior executives and non-engineering stakeholders 

!
Interpersonal communication skills with expertise distilling complicated technical topics to a broader audience 

!
Great skills in cross-functional, multi-language-based collaboration between engineering and non-engineering functions such as marketing, legal, developer relationship, and local regulatory and standards 

!
Innate drive to improve how things work, strong technical skills with an eye for design and user experience  

!
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to respond to feedback and implement ideas in a changing environment 

!
Have previously managed teams with direct and indirect reporting.
