Beyond Yoga's Finance team is growing and looking for a Full-time Sr. Financial Analyst.
In this Sr. Financial Analyst role, you will support assigned business units from a financial perspective, ensuring that the financial infrastructure is maintained. You will also provide accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and will be responsible for preparation of business analysis and forecasts. Your goal, as the Financial Analyst, will be to report, analyze and suggest areas of opportunities to both reduce cost, improve margins and increase revenue for Beyond Yoga. This position will report to the VP, Finance and Accounting.
**This role is fully remote optional but Los Angeles area is preferred with hybrid work model once the offices reopen.
Responsibilities:
!
Manage reporting and financial processes to ensure timely and accurate financial and operational information
!
Proactively identify and facilitate business process and systems improvements to enhance reporting and analysis
!
Ensure that appropriate controls and processes are in place to safeguard company assets
!
Make certain that best practices are implemented and followed for organizational and functional development
!
Provide audit support to both internal and external auditors to support audit of related financial statements
!
Run Ad hoc scenarios for new opportunities requiring ROI analysis and/or financial implications
Qualifications:
!
Bachelor’s degree preferred but 5+ years of combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree
!
Minimum 3 years of experience as a financial analyst
!
Financial reporting and analysis, general ledger and reconciliation processes, forecasting, budget management, and development of controls and procedures
!
Articulate financial results and issues to senior management and non-financial audiences
!
Understanding of the balance sheet and income statement
!
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
!
Independently analyze and complete complex general ledger account reconciliation
!
Expert knowledge of Excel
!
Experience with Business Objects and Hyperion Planning/Essbase applications a plus
