JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
! SAP ABAB Sr. Technical Analyst will perform SAP cloud extension development and complex analysis and programming, design, testing, and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement, integration, upgrade and support of LS&Co. SAP systems. This position understands the business context of requirements to develop solutions accordingly. This role is part of Information Technology (IT) team but will require frequent interaction with onsite team members, vendors and third party service providers. The ideal candidate will be a strong team contributor, will be eager to learn, be relentless in developing their craft as a software professional, will seek other’s experience, and will find great satisfaction in the patient pursuit of excellence.
EXPERIENCE:
! Minimum 5-7 years of S4-HANA, ABAP,FIORI , ODATA,CDS & UI5 Development experience
! Minimum 9+ years of direct work experience with the SAP and non SAP development tool set / HANA experience preferred.
! Strong domain knowledge on SAP SD,MM,FICO -Preferably S4- Fashion/AFS Experience.
! Strong experience in delivering SAP Cloud extensions.
! Should be strong team player who can build relationships across functions to mediate and resolve problems.
! Experience with server - side Java , object oriented design , MVC architecture, SOAP , REST based Web Services preferred.
! Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
! Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies to solving business problems.
! Must be able to meet deadlines of a dynamic, growing business.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
! Experience delivering projects with Agile Methodology
! Should have good understanding of different databases and database architectures
! Hands on experience in data structures and design patterns
! Quick thinking, organized work ethics, zeal to learn different technologies and innovate
! Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.
! Experience with SAP S4 Environment.
! SAP Certification preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
! 75% – Application Development
! 15% – Requirement Analysis and Technical Design .
! 10% – Incident and Request escalation.
EDUCATION:
! Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience.
SKILLS:
! Strong SAP business suite product knowledge (ECC,S4 HANA,SCP, etc.)
! Must be a team player, must be able to work with colleagues globally in a diverse environment , up and down management and with peers from different backgrounds.
! Strong IT skills – general computing and office software skills , networking knowledge , security, familiarity with mobile frameworks and web frameworks.
! Some experience with cloud solutions , DevOps models , ITIL , project management .
