We are looking for an experienced Strategy Manager who will support and unlock the strategic direction of the end-to-end product team, shifting our focus from a Supply Chain entity to value-driving and transformational operations engine for LS&Co. The Strategy Manager will work to support the Product Development and Sourcing (PD&S) teams, though will have involvement in projects across the entire Operations spectrum: Innovation, Sustainability, Merchandise Planning & Inventory Management, Product Operations and Distribution & Logistics.

In collaboration with functional leaders, you will guide the development of both long-term and short-term strategic plans that support our growth, are filtered through a lens of shareholder value, and support team effectiveness. You will also help translate plans into tangible action and implementation, serving as program lead in major strategic plans across Product Development and Sourcing.

You will help promote LS&Co. sustainably and cost-effectively generates the sourcing and manufacturing capacity we need to achieve our long-term strategic targets. In doing so, you will be able enhance and challenge the operations team thinking to boldly future proof our function. You will report to the Vice President of Strategy for Global Operations.

About the Job! Lead the annual strategic business planning (SBP) process for the PD&S team. Partner with Finance on the annual financial planning process for this team, and contribute to the broader SBP creation within the Operations group
! Lead, in collaboration with functional leaders, strategic plans that support the PD&S teams effectiveness, business growth and value creation for LS&Co.
! Partner with the SVP of PD&S to develop long term sourcing strategy and accompanying roadmap
! Be a program leader on major strategic programs. Lead teams during the diagnosis/evaluation, design/implementation and execution phases
! Accomplish analyses and ensure support of insights to identify opportunities and determine solutions
! Develop tools and processes to ensure functional integration, and monitor accountability to anticipate and resolve potential issues. Collaborate with other team leads to ensure successful ownership and execution that minimizes risk to the business
! Research and communicate relevant industry benchmarks and identify white space opportunities for value creation
! Partner with Product Development and Sourcing Leadership Team to identify and focus annual goals and priorities, and metrics/success factors for each priority
! Contribute to executive level communications (e.g. Board Decks, Executive Reviews, etc.) through creation of material on behalf of Product Development and Sourcing teams, and present material where required

About You
! 4+ years of corporate strategy, consulting, or investment banking experience with a focus on CPG or Consumer Retail
! MBA preferred
! Deep understanding of the value chain for a manufacturing and marketing/sales business, including the value drivers across the chain. Direct experience Sourcing in plus
! Deep experience developing strategic plans that provide both aspirational and understandable strategies and engages other essential internal/external partners
! Experience using influence to work across functions to build a collaborative and productive leadership team where divergent thinking yields the best possible ideas and actions
! Ability to conduct market bench-marking in the industry and translate to meaningful insights
! Ability to work flexible hours because of varying time zones and regions
