JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
! Works closely with cross-domain teams to ensure validity of functional requirements that are being defined.
! Ensures that proposed business processes align with the strategic views set forth by the Solutions and Business Process Architecture Team.
! Makes recommendations for improvement should there be gaps.
! Oversees scoping of cross-domain projects from inception to ready-to-build. Will monitor projects during build phase.
! Monitor and measure the performance of key strategic initiatives by defining metrics to hold teams accountable.
! Maintains documentation about the key processes and system flows in any cross-domain solution.
! Participate in the "technical product manager" community to share-and-leverage learnings and drive best practices.
! Participate in build-vs-buy decisions and present recommendations.
Skills & Qualifications:
! Experienced product manager accountable for a portfolio of products.
! Has the ability to not only define detailed product requirements but also the capability to translate that deep experience to a strategic product vision for projects relating to our transformation journey.
! Knowledge of data science and infrastructure, machine learning and foundational processes.
! Ability to flex with agility between Business and Technical conversations, teams, priorities and requirements, and drive balance, alignment, strategy, and value across both streams. Leverage your strong conceptual understanding of data models, inputs and outputs to translate between the Business and IT teams and identify the impact of our data structure on specific feature sets.
! Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.
! Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
! Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects.
! Strong presentation and communication skills.
