We are looking for a Lead UX Designer who will bring innovation, creativity, and spunk to our team. You will enhance end-to-end experiences across multiple platforms and help re-define the future of the Levi's shopping experience. You will be a tireless advocate for end-users and a strategic partner for product and engineering innovations. You will inspire and lead internal design initiatives, develop compelling concepts, and execute designs that resonate on an emotional level.

We are a fun collaborative team and we are looking for another great partner. You will report to our VP of Product and work remotely from anywhere in the US.

About the Job

Collaborate with Product Management, User Research, Development, Marketing, and other team members

!
Strategically deliver creative end-to-end user experiences that optimize user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web and mobile platforms

!
Directly responsible for delivering user experience visions, user journeys, end to end-user experiences, UI specifications, wireframes, and prototypes

!
Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite the complexity of the system

!
Articulate ideas and concepts through compelling visuals for internal leaders, partners, and customers

!
Use storytelling and persuasion techniques to build trust with partners and establish long-term relationships

!
Initiate or join efforts to create momentum and deliver meaningful work without compromising user-centered objectives

!
Ensure design is scalable and consistent across different platforms

!
Facilitate user interviews, ideation, user problem framing, and other design thinking workshops

!
Utilize a range of qualitative and quantitative user research insights to inform design decisions and help team eliminate experience blind spots

!
Use understanding of impact and success metrics to focus your team's efforts

!
Act as the resident user experience design expert, collaborating and facilitating discovery while driving quality product standards

!
Evangelize UX UI best practices to our partners and stakeholders

!
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and agile design culture

!
Mentor other designers

Requirements
!
8+ years of UX/UI design experience in an Agile product development environment

!
Proven track record for leading design and launch of successful consumer-facing experiences

!
Expert in user-centered design, information architecture, UI visual design, motion design, storytelling and rapid prototyping

!
A high standard of creativity and craft and the desire to create wonderful design work that goes above and beyond expectations

!
Expertise with web and mobile technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions

!
Highly proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Principle, Illustrator, Photoshop, and MIRO

!
Experience facilitating Design Thinking workshops

!
Four-year degree in Human-Computer Interaction, graphic design, or other relevant fields

!
Strong portfolio of web and native app design that demonstrates the depth of your experience
