At LS&Co we’re embarking on some major business transformations to position the company for long term success in the rapidly changing retail environment. The goal is to digitize our Go-to-Market capabilities, transform our Brand, Merchandising & Marketing and technology platform by building and implementing industry leading software solutions with advanced analytics. The scale and complexity of our business and system landscape make it an extremely challenging and exciting environment to work in. We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect that can span across multiple domains and be a key resource in accelerating technology to meet the needs of our business and will be part of the global Brand and Marketing technology organization.

We are currently seeking two Solution Architects, Digital Go-to-Market tools to join LS&CO. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible the overall solution design for various large-scale projects. You will be required to collaborate with software engineers, business partners, domain architects and leadership to achieve robust solutions that are aligned with our technology and business capability roadmaps. You are a hands-on leader who is passionate about technology and delivering value through technology. You will have broad responsibilities across the product design and merchandising space; helping us to design and build merchandising capabilities of the future. Your primary focus will be to help shape our strategy on Digital Go to Market tools and support the continued build out of our Merchandising capabilities. You also enjoy working with product and technology leaders to provide insights into where the industry is headed in order to influence capability roadmaps of our various systems.

About the Job:
! Understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determine corresponding enterprise system designs
! Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work
! Lead evaluation, analysis and design for the implementation of a solutions architecture
! Create reference architecture focused on design principles, detailed APIs, major systems dependencies between business and IT
! Work closely with other architects that manage and design architecture for dependent products
! Analyze the business-IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy and technical debt and recommend solutions for improvement (systems of record, differentiation and innovation)
! Define the principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision and contextualize solution development
! Work closely with the program management office (PMO) to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promised throughout the project or product lifecycle
! Work closely with the product owners and product managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle
! Work closely with application and infrastructure development leads to fit systems and/or infrastructure to contextualized architecture
! Ensure non-functional requirements are designed into the end-to-end solution and perform software standards and design reviews
! Manage the Key Design Decision Process and Design Escalations
! Mentor resources working on technical solution and act as the point person for cross-project technical issues/resolution
! Ensure development is in line with the solution design
! Oversee operational readiness and implementation strategy
! Document technical debt and identify opportunity to alleviate it

About You:
! 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study
! 8+ years’ Supply Chain architecture experience at vertically integrated retail businesses; ideally working in an apparel and wholesale environment
! 5+ years’ experience in the roles of enterprise architecture, digital tools, data and application architecture, integration and infrastructure architecture
! Experience in Retail industry & a good understanding of the supply chain processes is preferred
! Hands-on experience with the following technologies - NodeJS, Java 5+, J2EE, Spring framework 5+, Spring Boot, RESTful service, Spring Data (ORM), JPA, Junits, Postman, SwaggerUI, Git, Vue.js or React.js, GraphQL, Kafka, Docker, Docker images, Kubernetes
! Experience with server-side rendering (Next.js or Nuxt.js), CI/CD tools – Jenkins, GitActions, application logging tools such as Elk Stack is a must
! Experience in defining, developing and deploying Microservices based architecture
! Knowledge of API Management frameworks and building scalable and high-performance APIs
! Solid understanding of supply chain business processes; particularly in relation to Design, Merchandising, Product Life cycle Management, Assortment Planning, Digital Asset management and Marketing
! Required knowledge in one or more PLM (PTC Flex PLM, Enovia, Tradestone, Bamboo Rose), Planning (Oracle RPAS, JDA AP), Digital content management (Adobe, Cloudinary, Contentstack) packaged solutions
! Hands on experience with web and open-source technologies, source code management and automated build and deployment pipelines
! Experience in applying design patterns to defining enterprise integrations
! Experience deploying solutions on the cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) is preferred
! Experience in 3D technologies is preferred
! Experience with SQL and no-SQL database technologies
! Trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence and persuade business and IT leaders and IT development teams
