The Global PR Specialist is responsible for supporting the development & execution of Global PR strategy and delivery of relevant and engaging stories that put the brand firmly at the center of culture and contribute to transforming Levi’s into a lifestyle brand led by its values.

This includes project and communications planning, and the creation of key PR tools to drive qualitative and quantitative coverage with traditional and digital media and creators. Maintain and grow brand strength and share of voice among press, media/editorial partners, cultural key opinion leaders, digital influencers and our brand ambassadors. Driving brand impressions, equity and awareness. 

Key Responsibilities:
! Support in the development of PR Tool Kits ensuring the accuracy of all information (product messaging, availability, roll out dates, pricing, etc.) in collaboration with Merch & Design and PR agency partners including: press releases, media alerts, seasonal inspiration guides and fact sheets.
! Coordinate PR seasonal assets and creative requests such as product flat shots. Own end-to-end development of key PR tools such as the Seasonal PR Lookbook. Focus on elevating story-telling, look & feel, and further digitalization. Partner with markets to solicit feedback to ensure continual improvement 
! Partner with company historian on PR opportunities related to our company archives including creating briefing documents for interviews and development of relevant fact sheets and messaging 
! Ensure alignment, integration and hind sighting with cross-functional partners + Regional PR partners globally. Support the Regional PR teams by developing and cascading strategies and tactics around the globe
! Support with the further digitization of PR: be aware of new social and digital media platforms and creators relevant to Levi’s Target Audiences and build into strategies and activations accordingly; identify ways through which digital and social PR activities can support levi.com traffic and revenue targets, including Affiliates and SEO
! Work with local PR Teams to assure global brand alignment (e.g. bi-weekly calls with global partners) and to develop globally cohesive, yet regionally relevant asset support, including: managing media interviews, asset support for PR ( influencer events, product/sample/image requests, seasonal product launches), visibility into local PR stories and interviews.
! Facilitate global media queries – interview requests with Global spokespeople or Talent, Q&A materials - across PR Teams. Ensure deadlines are met. 
! Liaise with LS & Co corporate communications to ensure Levi’s brand is represented and plans are aligned with over-arching LS& Co. comms strategies; be primary POC for making sure LS&Co. internal blogs, employee communications, etc. is consistent with Global PR plans.  
! Develop and manage Global PR lists. Work across PR team to build press office activities and exclusives into Global PR plans
! Support in development of briefing documents, including coordination and logistics, collecting of information to develop messaging and backgrounders on journalists/creators
! Partner with stakeholders across Global Marketing Activations communications channels, including PR, Loyalty, Paid Media and Social Media, to support in the delivery of Global projects (ex: tracking down missing or incorrectly sized assets)

Job Requirements: 
! 3+ years of experience with proven track record in PR/corporate communications (in house and/or agency), including direct experience working with a variety of media and editor partners.  
! Strong skills in communications, media relations, writing, message development and reputation management.
! Acute attention to detail and highly organized — able to successfully prioritize across multiple projects
! Understanding of domestic and international media markets 
! Collaborative with excellent relationship-building skills
! Strong written and spoken communication skills. Ability to present ideas clearly and collect and act on feedback from a broad group of stakeholders 
! Advocate for consumer first approach to communications and use of data and consumer insights in development of plans and ideas
! Curious mindset with a positive attitude that's eager to learn; proactive in coming up with ideas and suggestions
! Understanding of social media platforms especially Tik Tok, Twitch and YouTube, SEO optimization opportunities through PR, and broader marketing principles 
! Strong creative eye and judgement anchored in understanding brand building 
! Good working knowledge of Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Photoshop and other editing tools
