About the Job:

The job responsibilities span over our entire lifecycle of data products
!
Partner with stakeholders across the Global planning organization and own multiple roadmap workstreams to enable us to use advanced ML and DL techniques to solve complex retail problems
!
Independently lead important and large projects with a significant impact on future capabilities and success of the business.
!
Build complex predictive models using ML and DL techniques with production quality code and jointly own complex data science workflows with the Data Engineering team
!
Mentor junior members of the team in building the best of the class solutions on their roadmap items.
!
Review the Data Science landscape for recent developments and opportunities to integrate new methodologies into the existing project portfolio.
!
Ensure that the risks associated with projects are raised to ensure all projects stay on track
About You:
! 5+ years of prior experience in a business-focused Data Scientist role
! Experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions, defining recommended actions, building predictive models, and visualizing results.
! SQL development skills writing complex queries.
! Experience with Python, R, Java, C++, Julia, or another widely used open-source programming language.
! Expertise in deploying Machine Learning algorithms in a production environment.
! Proficiency in Deep Learning engineering.
! Background with distributed computing and data processing using tools like Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark & HIVE
! Data visualization experience demonstrating ability to determine the appropriate visualization for a variety of data types and create compelling stories with data. (D3.js, R Shiny, Looker, Tableau or similar).
! Expertise in working with cloud environments: AWS or Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
! Proficiency in Demand planning or Sales forecast in retail domain
