JOB DESCRIPTION
Sr. Business Analyst position for OTC functional area to support S4 ERP implementation in Europe

Summary

The EDI Business Analyst actively participates in the analysis and decomposition of the EDI OTC business processes, aids in documenting the business process requirements, and takes part in designing the system enablers to support the organization’s To-Be process vision while remaining in close contact with the end-user community and business stakeholders.  The SOLAR OTC LSE EDI Business Analyst reports to the SOLAR OTC Team Lead.

Supports the SOLAR OTC Global team and other SOLAR cross functional teams to deliver the project according to scope, benefits, and timeline

!
EDI process proficient in SAP and related interfaces

!
Global customer savvy with large wholesale customers in key EDI messages of:
!
inbound orders

!
outbound ASN

!
outbound Invoices

!
Proof-of-Delivery messages

!
Sell-thru

!
Understanding of SAP CPI layer and BRF+ tools to support mapping requirements

!
Ability to lead business process discussions and functional EDI conversations

!
Able to coordinate, plan, track, set-up, test, diagnose errors, and identify corrective actions for EDI messages around and within SAP

!
Act as a champion of the solution within the business 

!
Aid in the design of reports, forms, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and user authorizations 

!
Remains connected to the end user community to enable full transparency on current and future business strategies and/or initiatives

!
Actively participate & drives workshops and presentations to validate business processes and solutions with the end user community

!
Participate in the system testing phase to ensure that the systems that has been built meets the business requirements

!
Provide training and business process input to the end user training team, review training materials, and deliver end-user training to the larger end-user community

Provide first line of support during implementation stabilization period and hyper care

Support data conversion activities (strategy, data cleansing, validation, etc)

Deliver training to end-user community

Assist in formal and informal change management activities

!
Drives for globally aligned OTC processes/systems that support achievement of business objectives

Maintain a pro-active collaboration, integration and communication approach with key stakeholders within the project and beyond
