JOB DESCRIPTION We are currently looking for a Senior Retail Operations Project Manager, based in our European headquarters in Belgium. In this role you will be responsible for: implementing European Retail projects to drive consistency in store processes, leverage best practices, streamline non-added value tasks and increase store productivity per hour; drive the execution of retail operations initiatives ensuring global alignment and local relevance; work cross-functionally to support the improvement of KPI in the stores; contribute to store efficiency by implementing and monitoring optimal processes and tools. Responsibilities: Project Management (75%) • For all projects, actively direct and manage the project life cycles from project kickoff through processes documentation, development, deployment and User Acceptance Testing. • Manage deployment planning with the input of local teams and make sure deadlines and budgets are respected. Ensure coordination across stores in the different European countries. • Liaise with Global stakeholders, share the European input and escalate blocking points when needed • Track adoption of the solution in the field and course-correct if required. Organize the users feedback collection and constantly evaluate the efficiency of the projects. Ensure reporting for project success, define criteria to monitor success and gather store feedback • Organize and conduct periodic project reviews with key stakeholders, sponsors and leaders to provide progress and plan to key milestones, manage key decisions and mitigate risks • Bring Retail point of view in IT design of tools and systems, to ensure their relevance for the store needs. Manage the implementation of new technologies in store • Act as a change agent and ensure proper communication with all other retail departments when working on retail projects • Manage change management related activities, including adoption tracking, user satisfaction and recommendations for improvements… Retail Operations Processes & Tools (25%) • As per the guidance of the Retail Ops Manager Europe, develop and implement policies and procedures for stores, taking into consideration time and resources optimization and relevance according to local store needs • Identify best practices in the countries, highlight them to the Retail Ops Manager Europe and support their roll-out and implementation across Europe. • Make recommendations to streamline non-added value tasks and increase store productivity per hour. • Support the store profitability across LSE by identifying productivity improvements and OPEX savings opportunities. Influence and align with local Retail leadership and implement the changes, in line with local legislation and company strategies • Identify needs for training/training materials & work with the Retail training team to develop them. Deliver trainings to Retail Operations Managers about the Retail Operations tools, projects and systems; • Influence local teams about staff scheduling and store productivity. Extract reports, provide analyses, make recommendations and implement changes to improve sell out and productivity. • Highlight red flags & track performance feedback based on weekly/monthly analysis • Manage the Central Store Supply team, ensuring all supplies are delivered in the stores, as per the agreed brand image, deadline and timing. Make sure the forecasted budget is planned efficiently and respected. Requirements: • Master in Business Management or related course • 5 years of experience in retail operations, and ideally 2 additional years of experience in a store environment • Excellent knowledge of store P&L’s and understanding of retail processes • Excellent project planning and coordination skills • Proactive approach and ability to coordinate multiple projects and competing priorities • Fluent in English, written and spoken. A 2nd European language is a very strong asset • Strong expertise in IT tools and systems • Strong analytical and presentation skills • Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint... • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong influencing skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and with different business departments • Organized and detail oriented without losing helicopter view. • Resourceful and able to work on deliverables autonomously • Customer focused, pragmatic, team player • Able to meet deadlines and respect budgets Travel % : 10-20% LOCATIONZaventem, BelgiumFULL TIME/PART TIMEFull time
