We're looking for an Assistant Designer for Levi’s® Women’s Bottoms supporting the team to design and develop our most Iconic women’s denim fits, including Levi’s® 501 family, Trucker Jackets, Levi’s® Boyfriend fit and seasonal fashion fits. You must bring progress and creativity to the team and have a high taste level and an appreciation for the Levi’s DNA is required. You are also someone who can increase success even with multiple diverse responsibilities. About the Job: • Reports to the Director of Design • Sustain the development, evolution and communication of a brand look that supports and deepens the brand value and identity • Assist one or more designers to perform the design process components to accomplish goals for the seasonal calendar, assortment plan and source location requirements • Support fit, fabric, finish, sundries and trim developments • Contribute to the development of seasonal design platforms and concepts by identifying consumer relevant opportunities through market research • Create detailed technical garment sketches • Sustain effective partnerships with Merchandising, Product Development and Sourcing to ensure products are engineered to profit and quality/aesthetic goals About you • Bachelor’s degree in Design in a plus, however a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a design environment • Excellent working knowledge of garment construction and pattern making • Team player and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment • Expert knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook • Interpersonal experience; especially when partnering with senior level designers and directors • Comfortable communicating across all channels with an ability to get the message across • You are an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a have a passion and interest in LS&Co OPTIONAL APPLICATION SUPPLEMENT• Create a 1 page Trend Board for Levi's and submit as your cover letter.
