JOB DESCRIPTION Levi Strauss Europe (LSE) is currently looking for a Manager, Strategy Analytics, based in our European Headquarters in Diegem, Belgium. In this role, you will be part of the nimble and high impact European Strategy Team in Brussels. The team works with the President of Europe and European Leadership Team to 1) define business strategy, 2) drive projects to implement the strategy and 3) inform other business decisions. Levi Strauss Europe is growing rapidly and transforming for the future. This role is critical to and poised at the center of those changes. Providing the analytical backbone of many of the team’s initiatives, you will demonstrate the expertise, maturity and interpersonal skills to ensure your work lands with impact. With analytics as a core strength, you will be an innovator and advocate for new analytical tools and ways of working within LSE. Responsibilities: • Scope, conduct and deliver analytical projects to help answer high priority strategic questions related to what, where, how and to whom LSE sells and should sell • Be a leading voice in applied analytics in Levi Strauss Europe• Strive for continual improvement in deployment of existing data sources, tools and processes to achieve actionable and relevant insights • Partner with Director of Strategy, VP of Technology and broader analytics community to drive analytics agenda in-region including but not limited to techniques and infrastructure • Identify and implement forward-thinking approaches that meet business needs • Advise on methodological decisions requiring analytical / advanced analytical expertise, to be taken by other parts of the business • Work with cross-functional teams to support development and deployment of analytics tools across functions within Europe, sometimes working with external suppliers Requirements: • Education and experience• B.A./B.Sc./B.Eng. in relevant quantitative topics minimum, Advanced degree in relevant quantitative topics and MBA/other business studies preferred • 3-6+ years’ relevant experience in strategy consulting with a focus on consumer-facing industries, preferably in an international environment, or equivalent experience within a consumer-facing business with a high degree of reliance on advanced analytics • Analytical capabilities• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, ideally in a consumer-facing context • Expertise in Excel, Access, SQL, Alteryx, Dataiku and/or other big data tools • Expertise with data visualization tools and capabilities • Experience productizing analytical tools preferred • Familiarity with big data information architecture is preferred • Consulting skillset• Ability to frame a wide range of business problems, then determine and drive appropriate analysis independently • Expertise in structuring and conducting hypothesis-driven analysis • Proven ability to derive compelling results in ambiguous circumstances • Demonstrable ability to prioritize and right-size analytical efforts to determine how and where to invest time and resource to derive the most value for the LSE business • Ability and interest to contribute to qualitative as well as quantitative projects and work streams • Working knowledge of accounting and experience with financial analysis for strategic decision making • Ability to prioritize and effectively multi-task across projects independently or with minimal guidance • Flexibility in approach and mindset to meet stakeholder needs from project to project • Communication and collaboration• Fluency in English, any other European language is an asset • Excellent written and oral communication with ability to tailor message and style to a wide array of audiences • Experience working collaboratively with a wide range of internal business partners and external suppliers • Ability to influence without direct authority • Embody personal credibility, professionalism and integrity through actions and manner What we offer: • An opportunity to build a career with a world-renowned, historic fashion brand that lives by its values • A chance to drive real change in an organization undergoing significant growth and transformation • A diverse, international environment of smart, inspiring people • A fun, creative, modern casual dress culture LOCATIONZaventem, BelgiumFULL TIME/PART TIMEFull time
