JOB DESCRIPTION Reporting to the President, Levi Strauss Americas (LSA) in this role you will establish and lead the strategic direction of LSA markets in both the long-term and short-term, in collaboration with the President and Regional Leadership team. This encompasses financial targets as well as strategic actions. Key Responsibilities • Establish regional and geo-specific strategies that improve profitable growth and market share gains, in collaboration with the President and Leadership Team • Create and lead the strategic business planning process for the region. Partner with Finance on the annual financial planning process. Partner with LSA Leadership Team to identify annual goals & priorities • Gather pan-region and market-specific intelligence (country, consumer, competitor) by engaging the Market Insights team and draw appropriate insights and conclusions to help inform individual Geo strategies • Create on-going in-market tests in direct partnership with the LSA Leadership Team and Market Insights Team; distill applicable insights & provide recommendations regarding go-forward effects and implementation • Evaluate and capitalize on incremental opportunities for top line and bottom line growth, across all channels ; Evaluate and recommend operational and process improvements to maximize volume and margin potential • Structure and guide essential regional commercial operations meetings to support the LSA President and the LSA Leadership Team. Help build the messaging and agenda of these meetings to ensure that they focus on issue resolution and knowledge sharing • Partner/ work collaboratively with business leaders to identify essential questions or issues facing the business. Structure analyses and ensure support of insights to determine solutions. Ensure understanding of other teams/pillars, wherever appropriate. For each potential program or solution, evaluate project attractiveness (market/external) and feasibility • Be a program and project leader on major strategic programs. Lead and manage teams during the diagnosis/evaluation, design/implementation planning, and execution phases • Develop tools to ensure functional integration, and monitor accountability to anticipate and resolve potential issues. Collaborate with other team leads to ensure transition that minimizes risk to the business • Lead team of direct reports including project managers and analysts Skills & Qualifications: • 8-10 years of corporate strategy, consulting, or investment banking experience with a focus on CPG or Consumer Retail; • MBA preferred • Deep understanding of the value chain for a manufacturing and marketing/sales business, including the value drivers across the chain • Project management skills We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
