We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Lead. As part of the Levis Global Ecommerce QA leadership team, the QA Lead will guide a group of Quality engineers who build automation and regression for Global Levis Ecommerce Mobile and Web platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating and leading test strategy, planning activities for multiple cross-functional application development teams, delivering programs and project features to the highest standards of Quality and Customer Experience in support of Levi’s Strauss & Company’s Ecommerce business strategy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Drive the quality organization’s vision and strategy across the core engineering tracks to attain consistency in method and process. • Lead a team of test & QA engineers to consistently deliver high quality software. • Drive architecting, Implementing and Enhancing a simple, robust and Automated testing framework / process to support a continuous development/deployment environment. • Work closely with our web engineers to seamlessly integrate testing into the development and build processes • Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint • Coordinate the seamless tracking and reporting of key quality metrics for measuring progress made in the strengthening our ecommerce test and quality footprint • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends, coding standards, libraries and frameworks to constantly challenge continuous Integration. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in technology field. • 10+ years of progressive Web technology and Retail Ecommerce domain experience. • 8+ years of experience testing and developing professional web software • 8+ years Software QA Automation experience on both web and mobile platforms– API automation, app automation, Web automation. • Hands on experience on architecting and implementing automation frameworks from scratch with the latest technology incorporating BDD such Cucumber, PhantomJS, Selenium,Test NG, Junit, REST assured, etc. • Strong coding skills in JavaScript or Java and build automation frameworks using these. • Working experience with Ecommerce platforms, OMS, search and third party Ecommerce applications, 3PL. • Exposure and understanding to modern web standards and technology. • Ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams, including business and technical stakeholder. • Comfort and experience working in an Agile SCRUM and test-driven environment. • Comfort working with offshore development and testing teams • Knowledge of Continuous Integration principles and best-practices- Jenkins, Github. etc • Strong professional experience with JavaScript and related libraries. • Understanding of modern web architecture using MVC approaches. • Exposure to bug tracking and task management software such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc. We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
