Our San Francisco-based Summer Internship opportunities, among the Levi’s®, Dockers®, Signature® and Denizen® brands, give students real world work experience and exposure to one of the world’s leading apparel companies. Our 10 week Summer Internship Program is the perfect way to gain work experience within the core of the organization, while learning what a career at LS&Co. might have in store for you. In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, all interns will participate in an intern group project dedicated to a critical business initiative as well as be exposed to all areas of our business and our brands. Leadership seminars and career exploration series connect our interns to our leaders and educate around different career paths. Intern performance will be assessed using our internal review process. The HR Communications team at LS&Co. is still relatively new and is looking to expand and improve the way we reach our target consumers in HR and the business. Over the past year, the team has experimented with increased use of graphic design, video, live events and digital communications to tell our stories to the company. In addition, the team will implement a new framework for branding of HR’s communications – and activating that brand through ongoing / existing communications is a top priority for the team in the year ahead. Currently, to help enable the objectives described above, the team is looking for a summer intern who brings a clear and immediate talent with technology to enable employee communications. This role will achieve 2-3 primary objectives: 1. Assist the team leads in activating the HR brand through our digital channels (email) 2. Develop and produce an HR Radio podcast for the global HR audience 3. Design and pitch a proposal for an internal / employee radio show program Qualifications: · Considers themselves a power user of social media · Has been known to create fun videos or podcasts to make a point or sell a product or service · Knows which end of a camera / phone is up and can use it to tell stories · Has no known fears or phobias of technology including: email marketing tools; video production, graphic design, or podcasting software; live event or recording/ production tools. · Has been seen or heard spending time in front of a camera – singing, selling, or telling a story. · Is without hang ups related to people or process – who won’t let challenges in life slow her down – who is contagiously optimistic, cheerful and friendly · Loves to solve problems, create hacks, workarounds, and make life simpler through incredibly strong organizational skills Additional Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program• Must be in junior year (rising senior at time of internship)• GPA of 3.0 or above Technology geeks sing-in-the-car prima donnas are welcome; we want your creativity, your energy, your smiling face and your get-it-done attitude.
