This position is accountable for the successful delivery of Workday projects for a given functional area globally, using project management methodology and providing hands-on leadership and direction to the team.• This position is also responsible for the mapping Workday business requirements, business process design and integrated systems including technical requirements, documentation and change management alignment.• Responsible for the analysis, design, scheduling, construction and delivery of small to medium-sized projects involving the Workday application.• Contribute to knowledge management capital through activities such as sharing documented lessons learned, Q&A and documented deliverables. Ensure relevant documentation is kept up to date.• Manage upgrades/newly defined, functional & regional configurations (in consultation with core WD team)• Provide a proactive interface between HR client groups and the Workday team to ensure effective coordination and delivery of Workday implementations• Establish and maintain strong relationships with HR COEs, HRBPs and other stakeholders. Communicate client group feedback to leadership as appropriate.Knowledge and Skills:• Strong program and project management skills. Must often coordinate efforts between functional areas or members of an extended project team. Work Experience:• 2-3 years of Workday or related HCM systems management experience.• Demonstrated experience configuring, implementing and/or maintaining Workday systems.• Successful record of building and improving operational processes and procedures, ability to drive program efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction.• Demonstrated program ownership and consistent delivery on commitments - great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.• Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience establishing and tracking program metrics including return on investment.• Experience identifying and resolving complex issues, will take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances - solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgment.Customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations – ability to serve multiple customers and deliver an excellent employee experience.• Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations Proficient in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook. Education and Certification(s):• Bachelor's degree in business, HR or related field.
