JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for the most talented MBA’s with a deep interest in the world of retail apparel to join our Global DTC team for 10 weeks this summer. We will teach you what you need to know about the Retail Industry – after all, you’ll be working with the most original and definitive denim brand in the world! Our program will give you a chance to impact our consumers as well as work on a strategic, critical business initiative that is presented to senior leadership. In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, interns will be exposed to all areas of our business and our brands. To top it off, you get to spend the summer in San Francisco! This internship will offer a unique opportunity, providing learning experiences that just might bring your consumer focus skills to the top of the pack. Position Overview: LS&Co is currently in a revolutionary phase as it seeks to transform into a leading DTC retailer. What is DTC you may be asking? DTC is Direct-To-Consumer, which encapsulates all the channels in which consumers shop with LS&Co. – primarily stores and ecommerce. As the retail landscape continues to change, LS&Co. is positioning itself to take a leading position in redefining the retail store experience. We are looking for a dynamic, high performing individual to join the retail arm of our DTC team this summer. As an Operations Manager, you will help drive and implement critical initiatives for our Global business partners. Additionally, you’ll support in the creation and ownership of key operational elements for the Global DTC team. This will require working with our Asia, Europe and American business partners, as well as internal stakeholders as a means of delivering best in class experience to our consumers. Your primary responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): • Delivery of key project(s) within the DTC roadmap (e.g. Fleet Rationalization, Labor Productivity, RIFD Expansion, Inventory Optimization, etc.) • Development of sustainable operations dashboards, tools and practices to be adopted by Global DTC Omni team • Owning a major work stream focused on uncovering and assessing key opportunities for our Global businesses • Participating in key go-to-market process activities • Highlighting and implementing ways to foster DTC mindset within the company • Global benchmarking of LS&Co. Retail Stores, Consumer Experience, and Productivity • Assessment and measurement of post-delivery performance of existing programs, including critical analysis of performance and recommendations for enhancements/future roll outs • Championing DTC through the organization, highlighting and implementing ways to foster a companywide DTC mindset Requirements for the Internship: · Bachelor’s Degree • Currently enrolled full-time in a top-tier MBA program, with expected graduation in spring/summer 2020 · Computer literacy including proficiency with MS Office applications Additional Qualifications: · Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization · Data-driven with the analytical abilities to identify opportunities and drive ROI analysis · Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and drive a high level of focus · Demonstrated ability to understand technology concepts and implications, manage trade-offs and opportunistically evaluate new opportunities with internal and external partners • Strong interest in the apparel or technology industry · Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail orientated and thorough The Company's policy is to provide equal opportunity to all persons without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, citizenship, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, marital status, Vietnam era/disabled veteran status, physical or mental disability, or other protected classes prohibited by applicable law.
