JOB DESCRIPTION Purpose: Act as a conduit between the commercial teams, GSC and both our Retail and Wholesale customers. The position will work to improve forecasting and order flow, visibility, metrics, prioritization, and on time delivery, ultimately improving service metrics and delivering against the revenue and profitability objectives of the LSA region. This person is responsible for activating the commercial strategies across the supply chain and therefore a combination of multiple roles. The role involves a high degree of coordination among key stakeholder groups, mainly commercial, finance, planning, distribution, logistics, and order management teams, and subsequent knowledge/aptitude of each. This role is responsible for representing Global Supply Chain in multiple high-stakes forums, and is accountable to delivering an integrated strategy in support of the region. This requires an ability to set a compelling supply chain vision, and build support around the vision while executing. This person is a critical participant and contributor to LSA Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), Annual Financial Planning process (AFP), and Strategic Business Planning (SBP) sessions, while being accountable for identifying and delivering process improvements to optimize our service model for key customers and markets. Ultimately this role ensures commercial priorities are represented throughout the entire planning, order management, distribution, and logistics processes. This role spans multiple business models and channels – wholesale, retail, consignment, licensee, distributor, and ecommerce, across the LSA geography – US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Latin America. The position is accountable for both business and GSC metrics (Net Revenue, DSI, Gross Profit, Service Level, Order Fill Rate, Distribution OPEX/Cost per unit, and last-mile logistics OPEX/cost per unit). This person should be able to… • work well in an ambiguous environment • be able to build structure where there is none • connect with front line operations teams, while being able to summarize complex operations and present a clear and compelling story to HQ leadership • Be highly organized and drive governance processes across a project portfolio. • Ultimately serve as the bench for the LSA Distribution & Logistics Leader Key Results: • Develop suite of reporting and associated processes to improve visibility and management of operations • Drive forecast accuracy to enhance service and cost savings • Develop metrics that give clarity to true GSC performance • Improve product flow and on time delivery • Identify issues and develop improvement strategies Additional Information and Key Metrics: • LSA commercial metrics - Net Revenue, DSI, Gross Profit • Distribution and last-mile logistics OPEX / cost per unit • Airfreight budget • Delivery & Productivity Metrics Qualifications: • Experience in retail supply chain – preferably with major brands • Deep understanding of Distribution/Logistics best practices • Advanced degree or M.B.A preferred • 10+ years of operations experience in supply chain or similar function (finance, engineering…etc) • Experience managing a portfolio of projects • Ability to connect operations to financials • High degree of integrity and build an inclusive culture • Ability to present to Senior leadership and tell a simple story from deep analysis LOCATION1155 Battery St. San Francisco, CA, 94111FULL TIME/PART TIMEFull time
