The Director of DTC Digital Innovation runs the vision and execution for Digital Innovation at LS&Co. which spans, mobile, retail, marketing, and product teams. In this capacity, you will focus on the following essential areas: • Work with the Strategy and Partnerships team, Global Retail Capabilities team and the DTC leadership team. • You will develop the vision and strategy to roll out for all new global digital Innovation capabilities. • You will also lead all LS&Co E-Commerce Customization capabilities and own our strategy in this area, as well as execute and role out these capabilities including full P&L ownership. Core responsibilities include continuously surveying the market for newest technologies and trends, driving the incubation of ideas, determining technologies to implement, evangelizing solutions, creating proof of concepts, piloting, and establishing solutions towards production. You will work together with Product management assessing, organizing, and solving for the landscape of projects and work streams flowing through the E-commerce team from creation to delivery. You will direct timeline and PER benefits accountability across teams as they work to achieve success in their areas of discipline. You will manage the vision for global Innovation at LS&Co. as well as drives Americas execution to manage and support projects/programs that meet the business strategies, relationships, timelines, and scope and resources. This role is also tasked with delivering sales and EBIT related to LS&Co Innovation and Customization/FLX consumer facing benefits as laid out in our PER’s . About the Job• Understand trends in e-commerce, marketing, and digital to envision, deliver new capabilities to guide quarterly impact. Examples include: Understanding of trends such as automation/AI, VR/AR, emerging platforms to reach customers in new ways. • Deep global industry expertise with understanding and relationships in the startup space. Will need to navigate and manage complex partnerships-with both large and small players as we increase forward innovation for LS&Co. globally. • Create a scaled operational plan for new Innovation and Customization consumer-facing capabilities. • Incubates and runs pilot and scale innovation initiatives across all 3 regions before hand off to regions (when P&KL has scaled profitably) • Responsible for completion of business deliverables; operational process flows, use cases, business requirements. Also works cross functionally to deliver operating and staffing models, incentive plans, marketing plans to ensure effective regional Innovation and Customization roll outs. Manages and maintains business-facing milestone plan & delivery roadmap. • Identify global rollout markets/territories and timing for all LS&Co and Innovation and Customization consumer facing role outs. Works cross functionally with Americas, Europe and Asia region team to define vision, timeline, scope, rollout and benefits for Innovation and customization initiatives. • Identifies and engages business SMEs and Experts • Partners with Product management to drive key work-stream meetings • Works with cross-functional business partners to ensure proper capability integration across all channels and functions (Stores/ Global Retail Capabilities, GSC,IT, HR and E-Commerce) • Partners with Store execution and Global Retail Capabilities, on the development of training and communication materials for stores as well as projects • Identifies topics for Direct-to-Consumer Leadership Team meetings as well as key steering committee meetings on all Innovation and Customization initiatives across LS&Co. (business risk, deliverables PER approval, etc.) • Lead the function of Innovation and Customization across all Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels at LS&Co., developing a pipeline of Innovation projects and evaluating ROI and business feasibility. • Lead a team of 3 associates to support the areas of global Innovation and Customization capabilities. About You• MBA/ MS or advanced degree or equivalent analytical work experience preferred • 5 years or more of management experience (2-3 years P&L ownership preferred) • 2-3 years consulting experience/strategic project experience • 5 years or more within a business role with a focus on rolling out new programs. • Innovation or Ecommerce/Digital project management and analytics in similar role desired. • Creative thinker that knows the industry/space and is thinking about the next evolution of the consumer journey • Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Visio, MS Office Suite, Process Maps • Link strategic insights to operationalized business plans • Manage partners and navigate the startup landscape We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
