The Senior Manager, Inventory Optimization provides strategic leadership and direction for all key direct to consumer supply chain related projects(egs include - the global RFID program, inbound receiving optimization etc). For these key initiatives responsibilities will include: capability delivery, developing business processes, in-store testing, cross-functional engagement from development to adoption, and analysis of data and outcomes. This individual is responsible for identifying the impacts and requirements for the RFID program, Inbound supply chain optimization, product customization supply chain optimization and omnichannel inventory optimization as well as understanding the global implications of these projects. This role is the global business leader and engages with cross-functional partners in Store Operations, Global supply chain IT, and Finance in our 3 global regions (Americas, Europe, and Asia-Middle East-Africa). He/she will work to optimize the direct to consumer supply chain b optimizing various initiatives and ultimately will ensure that the solutions rolled out fulfil the needs of the LS&Co. business. This position reports to the Senior director of Direct to Consumer Global Productivity. Key Responsibilities / Tasks The Sr. Mgr. Inventory Optimization will perform the following main functions: • Develop and manage project plans in conjunction with cross-functional stakeholders: Global supply chain, Regional supply chain, Store Operations, IT, Finance, Brand Environment, etc. • Define and develop future state business operating processes for all business units impacted • Develop business cases in conjunction with cross-functional partners • Structure and conduct advanced analysis to inform key questions for project; gather and synthesize relevant data, lead analyses and develop recommendations • Use advanced techniques such as lean six sigma and time study analysis to optimize and approach business problems • Present project status and lead discussions with management and senior leadership(SVP Global Supply Chain and EVP/President DTC) • Resolve issues with a hands-on/in-store/in-DC approach Desired Skills & Qualifications • BS/BA; MBA or MS in Engineering preferred • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in: Retail Operations Management, Consulting • 1-2 years Industrial Engineering experience preferred • Deep analytical and critical thinking skills • Experience leading transformational projects • Specialized knowledge of RFID, Inventory Management, Inbound and Outbound Transportation and Store Operations preferred • Experience driving adoption of new business processes in a retail store • Exceptional problem-solving, business judgment, and analytical skills • Capable of building strong relationships across an organization and ability to work in diverse teams • Ability to work both in a management capacity, and in a detailed, hands-on system capacity • Relentlessly resourceful and able to manage deliverables autonomously, with limited oversight • Strong communication skills with ability to clearly explain complex issues to a range of audiences • Passion, energy and enthusiasm to drive results with a team-oriented approach; must be self-motivated, proactive, and flexible • Deep desire to be part of a globally transformational project We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
