Job Description: LS&Co. is embarking on the journey of simplifying the IT landscape and implement next generation business processes and systems to enable and fuel growth by consolidating multiple SAP ECC instances into a single global instance of S4 HANA. This role reporting Director, Data & Analytics Product Management is a highly visible role, responsible for leading and delivering data, business intelligence and analytics capabilities across all tracks of the program. The Sr. Data & Analytics Product Manager will develop a deep understanding of the business processes and act as data subject matter expert. The individual will collaborate and work very closely with Data and Reporting solution architect and delivery team members in designing robust and scalable BI and Analytics solution to enable data insights and meet the decision making needs. The individual will act as a bridge between the business community and technical team members. Responsibilities: • Serves as a technology thought leader for and advise business partners accordingly • Develop a strong understanding of business processes and gain working knowledge of applications supporting the processes in new S4 application • Plan and prioritize the roadmap and delivery; • Identify, analyze user stories and reporting and analytics requirements, explore and evaluate various options • Profile source system data to develop strong understanding of the data relationships, cardinality and quality of the data thereby helping in determining if the data can meet the high level goals of information and reporting needs as well as plan functional and test cycles • Partners closely with business partners, functional delivery leads, architecture and engineering teams to facilitate optimal solution design and delivery • Translate the requirements to functional specifications document, develop and own requirements traceability matrix • Collaborate and partner with business users to develop use cases for functional and User acceptance testing • Analyze new solutions impact on existing systems and processes; help testing team determine the correct scope and depth of testing required • Assist business team in developing test cases and provide necessary subject matter support during integration testing cycle. • Conduct User Acceptance testing, train super users and power users on usage of the tool and the solution and gather user sign off • Manage requirements volatility, integrity and continuity via change management and reprioritization • Assist the Project Manager in identifying and managing project issues, risks, and scope creep. • Monitor the usage of BI and Analtyics solutions, work with business stakeholders to ensure the solution is adopted and fully leveraged for decision making Required Qualifications: • 12-15 years working in Information Technology with a thorough understanding of SDLC methodology • 8-10 years of direct experience in SAP Business Intelligence environment with SAP ECC, APO as transactional sources • Experience implementing Operational reporting on S4 HANA and BW4HANA platform is a plus • Minimum 10 years of experience in BI Business analyst role with strong hands on experience in developing complex semantic layer, reports and dashboards with one or more BI tools and experience with SAP BI and Tableau is a significant plus. • Prior experience in Data and Analytics Product Management is a plus • Solid understanding of Data Warehouse methodology and dimensional modeling • Strong understanding of business processes and prior experience of implementing BI Solutions for Order to Cash, Supply Chain & Planning functions • Highly Proficient in documenting use cases, requirements and functional specifications. Experience in Agile BI is a plus • Ability to quickly translate requirements to prototype and get business buy-in • Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external stakeholders in a clear, focused and concise manner • Ability to work effectively in a global and matrixed environment • Self-motivated with strong leadership and presence • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial Educational Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline/experience.
