The Director, Advanced Analytics leads our Advanced Analytics team focusing on marketing effectiveness evaluation, business drivers’ analyses, forecasting and in market testing. Drives capability development ensuring effective approaches and improved process, leading tools and application in the organization. Partners with the business to understand issues and inform key decisions for LS&Co. brands globally. Helps drive annual research plans and longer-term Insights roadmap. Key Results: • Drive growth by applying tools and expertise consulting on essential business issues. • Develop a high performing Advanced Analytics team with technical expertise and business skills to advise on business issues. • Provide strategic thought leadership around business implications. Identify business opportunities based on consumer, marketplace and business understanding. • Develop effective working relationships within the function and with key partners to ensure actionable insights. About the Job• Aid decision making through rigorous analysis integrating knowledge from a spectrum of internal and external resources and from experience. Proactively identifies risks and opportunities. • Collaborate with Insights and partners to determine key research needs. Ensures projects are efficiently planned and managed and delivered in a clear, compelling, accurate and actionable manner. • Ensure development of integrated analyses, reporting and perspectives to inform strategies and key business issues. • Promotes a culture of deep consumer and marketplace understanding that becomes internalized by business partners and a foundational element for key decisions. • Trains and develops team • Manage supplier relationships and guides deliverables • Partner with Insights team to assess brand and market performance About You• Bachelor's Degree with a strong mathematics or statistics background preferred • Master’s in business, economics, mathematics or statistics • 7+ years’ experience in Advanced Analytics role including 3+ years in people management. Apparel experience a plus. • Experience in full range of quantitative market research methods, including advanced statistical techniques (conjoint, regression, factor and cluster analysis) • Marketing Analytics expertise in MMA and MTA. Experienced in forecasting, predictive analytics and times series modeling. • Passion for insights coupled with excellent communication and influence skills • Strong coach and people manager/developer • Able to understand, integrate and synthesize a wide array of data and provide actionable business implications • Can consult business partners in framing complex issues and applying a variety of insights and information against to address • Knowledge of Python or R, Tableau and SAS We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
