Our employees are committed to progress, authenticity and collaboration. • This profile is for the Sr. Solutions Architect, IT Finance to lead multiple Finance initiatives (Transactional Finance, Tax, Treasury, Indirect Sourcing & Controls / Audit) from a technology perspective. A Senior Solution Architect plays a leadership role in design and building of the solutions within a focused IT domain. Responsibilities include coaching and manages others as well as researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies. They have significant knowledge and have one or more areas of technical expertise in which they concentrate. They conceive solutions, promote, and sell/execute solutions. They may be involved in all aspects of the project life cycle, from the initial kick-off through the requirements analysis, design and implementation. Additional responsibilities may include establishment of the overall architectural view, identification of major system interfaces, development of module reuse on an enterprise-wide scale, and identification of existing architecture weaknesses and opportunities for process re-engineering. They lead perform systems analysis and design, system modelling, performance modelling, integration planning and technology and component selection to ensure architectural consistency and coherence between technical processes. • Job Requirements • 5-10 Years of overall ERP Experience as an IT Professional with core experience in SAP Finance (ECC 6.0 Must, S/4 HANA is an added plus). • Wide experience in developing customer-centric solutions • Experienced in standard IT architectures and frameworks • In-depth experience and knowledge of Finance domains • Proven track record in leading medium to large projects of moderate complexity • Working knowledge in Information Security and Data Privacy and regulations • Experience leading enterprise wide solution implementations to a successful conclusion. • Experience working in a global matrixed environment • Proven experience in working, troubleshooting, solutioning, Pros vs Cons analysis, and evaluating cost benefit aspects of the solutions in a system-rich landscape where both centralized and decentralized solutions are in play. • Dynamic person who will not shy away from getting hands on in configuration and design and at the same time, lead and manage teams (offshore and onsite) and manage deliverables depending on the scenario/project. • Willingness and ability to implement any other SaaS financial platforms with support from the SaaS vendor. • Certification in SAP FI/CO, and other SAP Solutions (optional). • Experience in at least 2-3 full life cycle implementations and rollouts, and must have acted as the overall IT Finance lead in those IT projects • Acts as a gatekeeper and authority for the overall solution architecture of the Finance solution being designed • Where required, manages and motivates a small number of individual contributors (direct or matrixed), workload planning, coaching & task allocation • Lead, Manages and Optimizes the effectiveness of delivery of the IT components ensuring realization of maximum value. • EDUCATION • Bachelor's degree in Technology major • Certification in Accounting (CPA, CA or similar) - Preferred • SKILLS • Strong functional and deep understanding of translating functional processes to technical solutions • oversee the delivery and manage build and deployment progress in various deployment approaches (On-Premise, Hosted, SaaS and other variations) • Knowledge in: AP, AR, GL, SPL, CCA, PCA, CO-PA, Fixed Assets, EC-CS and Record-to-Report. • Deep understanding of the Licensing models for SaaS vs Hosted vs On Premise and their respective impacts on cost. • perform different roles (and potentially multiple roles) depending on the project.
