About the Job You will be responsible for designing and creating innovative, commercially-viable products that provide value and style for the Levi's Women's Woven Tops, Dresses, Outerwear and sustain the development, evolution and communication of Levi's look that supports and deepens the brand value and identity. • Reporting to the Director of Women's Tops Design • Develop seasonal design platforms and concepts • Identify consumer relevant product opportunities through market research • Create fit, fabric, finish, sundries and trim developments • Design product to accomplish goals for the seasonal calendar, assortment plan and source location requirements • Sustain partnerships with Merchandising, Product Development and Sourcing to ensure products are engineered to profit and quality/aesthetic goals • Accomplish direction given by senior designers and directors as part of the global guideline • May coach lower level designers About You• College Degree in Design (5+ years of combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree) • Minimum 3 years experience as a designer, responsible and accountable for all facets of design and development • Must be able to lift 15lbs (i.e. packages racks) • Tops denim finish experience a huge plus. • Outerwear design a plus. • Strong design skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop • Demonstrated success creating commercially viable and profitable product designs • Strong working knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, textiles, finishing techniques and processes • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Strong team oriented individual with the ability to work with diverse partners in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
