As a Sr. Project manager on our Global Supply Chain / Levi Strauss Americas team, you will manage multiple projects for the Americas business and Global Supply Chain.The Sr. Project manager is also expected to possess a broad domain and technology knowledge, which you can apply to critically evaluate the wide variety of software solutions available to solve Retail, Ecommerce and Omni-channel challenges. You will provide project planning and project implementation services for business enablement solutions, while following LS&Co.’s PMO processes, policies, and guidelines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Business Analysis & Project Management Leadership Functions • Leads extended diverse project teams, setting goals, objectives, and priorities then conducting frequent team update sessions to review status and resolve issues. • Create functional specifications, functional requirements, process flows, use cases, and user-interface design documents. • Develop a productive working relationships with project sponsors, project team, business project lead, vendors and other essential clients • Identify potential areas of improvement within functional areas of information technology at LS&Co. • Evaluates complex situations using multiple sources of information; filters, validates and interprets dynamic material • Acts as a liaison between end-users, functional leaders, and technical teams to critically evaluate needs and identify potential solutions, and be the single point of contact for all communication. • Manage vendor relationships, including representing LS&Co., negotiating and working closely to prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve all issues. • Provide assessment of IT project management needs (as requested), • Recommends and implements risk mitigation strategies. • Plan and manage Scope, Schedule, Budget, Resources: • Independently drives and monitors project milestones and essential dates to identify potential risks in the project schedule. • Assesses variances from the project plan, gathers metrics, and develops / implements changes as needed to ensure the project remains within scope, on schedule, and under budget. • Identifies project resource requirements and forms project teams by securing resources and mobilizing commitment. • Obtains, and sometimes determines, staffing requirements and forms project teams securing resource commitments. Communication and Decision Making: • Conducts project meetings (kickoffs, status, sponsor etc.). Establishes/runs project steering committee meetings. • Effectively manages project team, including communicates individual roles and project expectations to ensure the project team has the tools and training required. • Evaluates and proactively communicates project updates, status, issues and risks to all project partners. • Drives communication across IT teams and ensures business-based decision making by engaging the necessary sponsors / stakeholders. • Obtains IT and business approvals for all checkpoints. • Documents bi-weekly status reports, meeting minutes, and conducts regularly scheduled budget reviews. • Integration and Coordination: • Adjusts project plans and tasks to ensure integration based on cross-project, resource, and schedule. • As needed, ensures visibility and supports integration for projects. • Coordinates activities across functions within IT as appropriate (e.g. infrastructure, release management / QA, etc…). • Manage project level risks, weighing probability, impact, documenting mitigation and contingency strategies. Basic Qualifications: • Minimum 7+ years of enterprise IT project management experience • Experience with Supply Chain and Commercial / Order Management systems • Experience leading global delivery teams is strongly preferred • PMP or other related certifications strongly preferred • Experience with Agile methodologies a plus Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: • Excellent relationship and team building skills • The ability to work with all levels of staff & leadership • Demonstrated skills in collaborating, persuading, influencing and negotiating • Excellent relationship and team building skills • Meet the requirement of up to 10% domestic and international travel Educational Requirements: • Bachelor's degree • We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
