We are seeking a Manager, Consumer Insights to facilitate understanding of and provides perspective on the consumer, with fact based analyses and insights to build LS&Co. brands and the business. With assistance from their manager, you will plan, co-ordinate and implement research projects that are needed to achieve specific fiscal and strategic goals. About the Job • Aid decision making through rigorous analysis that integrates a spectrum of our resources. Identifies risks and opportunities. Ensures research projects are carefully aligned with brand needs and insights are leveraged against goals. • Collaborate with Insights and partners to determine essential research needs. With guidance from their manager, you will ensure projects are planned, managed and delivered in a manner that is compelling, accurate and actionable. • Ensure development of integrated analyses, reporting and perspective to inform brand strategies and essential business issues (includes both custom research and syndicated data/tracking). • Help create a culture of deep, target consumer understanding and empathy that becomes internalized by partners (marketing, merchandising, product design, and brand environment), and becomes a foundational element for important decisions and the go-to-market process. Includes an understanding of consumer lifestyles, motivations, needs and apparel preferences based on both quantitative and qualitative research. • Partners with Global Market Trends and Analytics to ensure effective market measurement. Assesses brand and competitive market performance and deploys best practices. About You• Bachelor's Degree required • 2-5 years experience in market research or consulting. Client-side and apparel experience desirable. • Experience with or exposure to a range of quantitative and qualitative market research methods, including primary survey research techniques, concept-product testing, segmentation, and advertising research. • Understand basic statistics and awareness of advanced statistical techniques (conjoint, regression, factor and cluster analysis). • Able to integrate and synthesize primary and secondary data to form insightful observations and clear, actionable business implications. • Ability to influence, and work collaboratively with outside vendors and wide range of internal partners.
