We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our HR team in our European headquarters in Diegem, Belgium. In this role you will be reporting to the Payroll and Benefits Lead. Responsibilities: • Execute payroll administration on a monthly basis and prepare employment reports in an accurate, timely and customer orientated manner, in line with local reporting needs for Belgium (corporate and stores) • Coordinate effectively monthly, yearly and ad hoc projects related to payroll and time and attendance • Ensure that payroll activities adhere to documented SOX requirements, internal SOPs and internal & external audit requirements and agreed control mechanisms are properly executed • Control the Payroll department costs, in line with the agreed budget • Front line responsibility with Managers and Employees regarding payroll queries and escalations liaising with Payroll and Benefits Lead • Maintain a smooth collaboration with Payroll and Benefits Lead, the payroll provider, the local HR and finance team and the Compensation & Benefits team • Manage front end support to and provide timely and personalized information to employees before and after payroll changes occur • Provide clear communication to the local HR team and employees about collective or individual changes.
