This profile is for the Manager, IT Finance to lead multiple Finance projects/teams (Transactional Finance, Tax, Treasury, Indirect Sourcing & Controls / Audit) from a technology perspective. Will require experience managing large teams (employees and contractors), in depth knowledge on Finance and Accounting principles, business processes knowledge, hands on experience configuring and implementing in ERP Technologies like SAP. Having an accounting degree (CA, CPA etc) will be an added plus. EXPERIENCE • 10+ Years of IT Finance experience with core experience in SAP Finance (ECC 6.0 Must, S/4 HANA is an added plus). • 8+ years managing a large team (employees, contractors or both) • Proven experience working, solutioning, Pros vs Cons analysis, and evaluating cost benefit aspects of the solutions in a system-rich landscape where both centralized and decentralized solutions are in play. • Dynamic Person who will not shy away from getting hands on in configuration and design and at the same time, manage teams (offshore and onsite) and manage deliverables depending on the scenario/project. • Willingness to implement any other SaaS financial platforms with support from the SaaS vendor. • Certification in SAP FI/CO, and other SAP Solutions (optional). • Experience in at least 2-3 full life cycle implementations and rollouts, and must have acted as the overall IT Finance lead in those IT projects Key Responsibilities STRATEGY • Implement the long-term strategic road map for the IT component(s) in Finance portfolio OPERATIONS AND DELIVERY • Deliver the IT components according to LS&Co. IT and PMO processes and standards • Proven success implementing SAP functionality in a team environment & ability to work self-sufficiently. TALENT • Strong functional and deep understanding of translating functional processes to technical solutions in an SAP TEAM MANAGEMENT • manage, guide and motivate a team of individual contributors (employees or contractors) Finance & Accounting • Be a gatekeeper and authority for the overall solution architecture of the Finance solution being designed • Where required, manages and motivates a small number of individual contributors (direct or matrixed), workload planning, coaching & task allocation • Lead, Manages and Optimizes the effectiveness of delivery of the IT components ensuring realization of maximum value. Education and Skills EDUCATION • Bachelor’s in Business Management or Technology Major • Certification in Accounting (CPA, CA or similar) - Preferred SKILLS • Strong functional and deep understanding of translating functional processes to technical solutions • Oversee the delivery and manage build and deployment progress in various deployment approaches (On-Premise, Hosted, SaaS and other variations) • Knowledge in: AP, AR, GL, SPL, CCA, PCA, CO-PA, Fixed Assets, EC-CS and Record-to-Report. • Deep understanding of the Licensing models for SaaS vs Hosted vs On Premise and their respective impacts on cost. • Perform different roles (and potentially multiple roles) depending on the project.
