We are looking for a Senior Designer in Levi’s® Women’s Bottoms responsible for designing and developing our contemporary women’s denim fits, including Levi’s® Lot 700, Mile High Super Skinny, Levi’s® Revel Jeans, and the Levi’s® Mom Jean. You will report to the VP, Levi's Women's Design. The Senior Designer has deep experience in denim finishing techniques, a knowledge of the contemporary denim market, a passion for denim fabric innovation, experience in denim fit, and an eye for women’s denim trends. A high taste level and an appreciation for the Levi’s DNA is essential. The Designer can work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage and develop direct reports, including a Designer and Assistant Designer. Strong relationship skills are necessary. Must be highly organized, creative, and willing to be part of a company- and team-first environment. About the Job• Drive innovation of the category through best-in-class fit, fabric, fit, finish, style and sundries development • Research and monitor the consumer and marketplace to identify opportunities to stay ahead of the competition • Manage team to develop on-brand, trend-right product that drives equity and profitability for the Levi’s® brand and upholds our aesthetic standards. • Collaborate with Director in developing seasonal concepts and color stories. • Analyze current selling and consider when developing into future trends • Manage team creation and development of PLM BOM data integrity: prototypes, commercial samples and production • Build diverse relationships, leading collaboration and partnerships within Design, and across Merchandising, and Product Development • Develop the strategy and innovation to meet seasonal product assortment needs and COGS targets • Strategize and drive GTM timelines, processes and deliverables • Design and develop product with a sustainable mindset and +Net Positive without compromising aesthetics • Guide technical design packs communicating style, size, proportion, scale, and attention to details, manage and drive fittings and product development About You• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, or a combination of college education and industry related work experience may be used as a substitute • 8+ yrs experience as a designer, responsible for all facets of design and development • 4+ yrs experience specifically as a women’s denim designer • Expertise in textiles and product development; working knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, denim fabric construction, finishing techniques, and processes • Proficient on all design platforms – Adobe CC and PLM program • MS Office proficiency, Word, Excel and Outlook We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
